It has to start/stop with Bowles. This isn't Remember the Titans with Denzel running the O and Yoast running the DWho is taking care of the "in game" decisions/adjustments? Challenging plays etc....
Well, I guess that's their problem...lol.......
I have enough to worry about with my team and coaching.
It's a matter of time. Once Tom Sr. has a couple of Old Fashions in him it's all overDid anyone ever hear from Tom Sr. about this friction w/ BA? We all know the old man can't keep his trap shut.
We see AB differently. I am not trying to argue with anyone. There's way too much of that going on here already. The point is obvious and can’t be more clear. Brady lobbied for AB because AB was still a damn good player in 2019, 2020, and 2021 when healthy. So it makes no sense to question his motivation for wanting him on his team. I don’t know why you make silly points like whether or not AB was “the key” to Brady winning…I guess to turn it into an argumentative crap fest. AB made the offense better. He was a key matchup problem often and including SB55. It’s just weird to deny reality and act like Brady wanted to bring on a rotten apple for some barely noticeable perk.
I get it...it doesn't fit into your bizarre, fan fiction narrative that Tom ate a poisoned fruit when he left NE and is now crazed, self-obsessed prima dona who leverages his power and laughs about it, rather than that the reality that he's (a) never been perfect, (b) is obsessed with winning, and (c) is more public/less guarded now in his approach, and (d) plays for an organization who, as part of the agreement to go there, told them they'd give him a lot of leverage when it comes to decisions outside the traditional QB role. I should have just figured it was a part of that ridiculous "summary" of Brady's tenure in Tampa Bay and known you're not going to be rational about anything.
What if it is? What if it's Bowles running the D, Leftwich and Brady running the O? Bowles does all the pressers, but lets those guys handle the offensive scheming? It has to start/stop with Bowles. This isn't Remember the Titans with Denzel running the O and Yoast running the D

Fanboy is not an insult except to those who engage in ridiculous hero worship.Yes, Brady fans do exist among Pats fans, but I don't see the sense in repeatedly calling those folks names, especially when posters get banned.
As for Lebron, he couldn't hold Brady's jock. But in both cases they need players more than coaches. That's the simple truth that seems to be ruffling feathers here.
Agree but @ashley1992 question was who makes the in-game decisions (TOs, challenging calls, overall game plan, etc.). That's Bowles. He probably won't be involved in play calling (maybe on D) but when it's time to decide to go for it on 4th, punt or kick a fg, that's got to be his call. He's not going to stand in front of the press after a critical 4th down conv. fails and say "well Brady thought we could make it."What if it is? BB won a playoff game with Cleveland in 1994 with the #1 ranked defense in the NFL, it was the last time they won a playoff game going back 26 years until 2020. You don't even have your facts straight.Apparently BB does need validation here because a mod is throwing out fans who are critical of him.
Bill's place in Patriot history will always be tied into Brady until he gets more games and shows, yet again, that sports is about the players, not the coaches. Bill's record without Brady on the Pats is average with no playoff wins and one epic playoff loss.
I'll leave it at that because I'm trying to keep from inciting other Pats fans with my unpopular opinions.

Talk about someone that doesn't have their facts straight.... the franchise that Bill Belichick left won a Super Bowl 5 years later. Spare us the idiocy of using Cleveland's 1999 expansion team as if it has a shred of relevance. Looking at how the Cleveland expansion team has performed over the past 20 years is no more relevant than looking at how the Houston Texans have performed over the past 20 years. These Browns and those Browns literally have absolutely nothing in common save laundry.BB won a playoff game with Cleveland in 1994 with the #1 ranked defense in the NFL, it was the last time they won a playoff game going back 26 years until 2020. Right, the Ravens record is the relevant oneTalk about someone that doesn't have their facts straight.... the franchise that Bill Belichick left won a Super Bowl 5 years later. IMO a team needs a singular voice. What if it is? What if it's Bowles running the D, Leftwich and Brady running the O? Bowles does all the pressers, but lets those guys handle the offensive scheming?
I agree 100%. Once the decision was made to bring back Brady and let Arians go (i.e. promote him out of the way) the only real course of action they could have followed was to do what they did: Announce Brady's return, wait 2 weeks, make the coaching change. It would have been really bad if they made the coaching change and then Brady came back. It also would have been really bad if they announced the coaching change closer to Brady's return.OF COURSE this was Brady!! The timing is barely enough to try to fool idiots as if the 2 things don't have to do with each other.
Get your facts straight. I threw two posters out who were high jacking this thread.Apparently BB does need validation here because a mod is throwing out fans who are critical of him.
