Patriots Coaching Staff (Not OC/DC)- Upgrades?

The coaching staff is a disaster. If we thought little Stevie and Mayo were bad last year wait until we get a taste of Judge/Patricia.

Could anyone who spent anytime watching Judge’s dog **** Giants or Patricia’s **** show Lions, weigh in on their offenses? Please provide some special insight into the brilliance of those offensive juggernauts.

I assume Patricia just thought the opposing teams defense would be playing his style of soft zone prevent and he came to find out that no one in their right mind would think that’s an effective defense.

What’s the equivalent of a “bend don’t break” defense on offense? The delayed draw up the middle 25 times a game? Can’t wait.
How a team performs for a head coach doesn't mean that they can no longer be successful coordinators or positional coaches. Thjere are so many factors involved in a team performing well that it just doesn't make sense to say that because the Giants offense wasn't great for the one year that Judge was head coach he has no ability to coach offense. There are too many unknowns.

How are you handling things over on the Chief's boards? Must be a lot of people jumping off the ship, is that why you are back?

So now there is this.....

According to Florio, the Pats would already be in compliance because HALF of both there offensive and defensive staffs are African American.

BUT if the league is going to pay the salary as the article suggests, why not bring in another ex-patriot on the staff. If Ivan Fears is indeed retiring, I would love to see Kevin Faulk, take the RB coaches job.

Now, since we can no longer define what a "woman" is, how is this going to be enforceable? Can say Vinnie just identify as a woman, or better yet, as a woman of color?

In a league that most of the players are African American, it would only be logical that the majority of the coaches would be. It is nice to see that BB is once again, already way ahead of the curve, and not because of some virtual signaling edict from the Billionaires that own the NFL teams, but because he hires the men that played for him, and that he respects there talents (hmmm, isn't that how you are supposed to be hired for a job?).

We should rightfully ding BB for his blatant nepotism, with his sons and Al Groh's kid.

Who is we?

There is nothing wrong with nepotism as long as the individual is qualified, treated the same as everyone else and performs well at their job.

Let's get rid of Eliot Wolf as well. Is that what you want?

The hilarious thing is that every team is already in compliance. They made a new rule that currently doesn't require any teams to make additional hires.

Kraft is all in on Bill's coaching staff despite seeming confused. I wonder if he knows about the green balls Bill hands out.

If you listen close enough, you can hear Kraft saying in his head "why did I choose this guy over Brady again?"

This thing about "not being big on titles" seems like BS. Maybe Bill should give uphill title as head coach and GM and rely on Kraft to supplement a meager annual salary with wads of cash based on his performance solely at the discretion of Bill. Seems a bit abusive.

Yet people are like Judge and Pat are perfectly happy to come back to this supposedly abusive environment?

Yeah it’s fun to actually win.

...literally no one else would have them because their names are mud. So yes.

Aren't Judge and Fat Matt still getting paid by their former teams?

This would hold more water if Brian Flores wasn't immediately hired by someone a week after suing the NFL. They were respected enough to get head coaching gigs. If the Patriots didn't want them someone else would. They wouldn't suddenly be working at Costco.

Flores went from being a head coach to being some linebackers assistant so this isn’t the argument you think it is.

Your argument was that coaches coming back here is not a sign that the culture isn't abusive, because they had no choice. I'm arguing they likely had a choice, because teams don't blacklist coaches because they weren't successful head coaches.

I don’t think they would have gotten the roles or HC /Coordinators jobs with other teams
