I didn't grade the hiring. Do you see a letter grade in my post? I told you it's too early to tell. You're the one who said it was a bad hire. And no, hiring Hackett doesn't hand the Broncos Rodgers/Adams, but it increases the odds.
Grading something doesn’t require giving it a letter. Jesus.

Compared to other candidates at the time it looks like a terrible hire. Rather than give him credit for a long shot development not related to his ability to the job that you are speculating, if you don’t think it’s a bad hire that’s fine, but is it too much to ask that you explain why you think the guy is deserving of the job, if that’s your position?

I didn't say he was deserving of the position. I also didn't say he wasn't deserving of the position. Who else are you going to hire? The only guy out there with HC experience who has a good track record is Brian Flores or maybe Dan Quinn. There are too many openings for HCs and too few good candidates with a strong background.

Nah, I’m not a professional football coach, but it’s good to see you have finally realized you are out of your league when you disagree with me.
Too modest.

You're a regular NFL Einstein.

This might sound counterintuitive BUT when Brian Daboll (or if) leaves the Bills, that team's offense will IMPROVE.

Daboll simply doesn't develop the running game. He either wants his QB to run or else it is pass, pass, pass. Even McDermott gets on Daboll for the lack of development, and in fact McDermott has blamed Dabool for the Bills offensive inconsistency in the past.

Against the Chiefs, how many times did you see huge running lanes open up for Singletary, if the guy only knew how to cut it back?

Daboll used Josh Allen to generate rushing yards. At the Giants, he'll have no such luck with Daniel Jones, and teams will come crashing down on the QB, because Daboll will not use Saquon Barkley.

As for the Bills, if they can hire or elevate an OC with a sense of balance, the way McDermott wants it, they'll be a lot more difficult to stop.

More difficult to stop than no punts and 7 straight TDs. We are in big trouble.

Sh!ttsdirt now in the hunt for a new GM... Colbert to step aside after the draft.

Giants hire Daboll. Hopefully Josh Allen falls apart without him.

I speak from personal experience when I say that looks aren't everything, but to me Daboll looks too much like Freddie Kitchens for me to be comfortable hiring him as my HC... Also a little surprised that the Vagiants went with two former Pats assistants in a row...

Plus I always wonder about someone who has bounced around as much as Daboll. If he was that good why didn't teams try to hang onto him? Josh Allen made him look great, but that is saying very little.

I may not have searched this well enough but I dont seem to see KC loosing any coaches recently to other NFL teams , is there a reason ?
