OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

I don’t know. I don’t go in the main forum often these days. It has become the Bill Belichick fan club forum where you are called a fake fan if you still like Brady or critic his highness. I don’t have any pleasure posting there anymore. That could change in the futur though

Both posters whose usernames have MAC in it are organizational shills who are very anti tb12.

Do you root for the Saints to win? If they win, they can only get the #7 seed, and this means the Rams are #2 (Rams need to beat the 49ers for the Saints to get in.)

This would mean:
Saints at Rams in Round One
Eagles at Bucs in Round One

I think the Saints are the team that no one wants to play...not just the Bucs. That defense can lock down any team. If the Saints beat the Rams, they'd go to Lambeau (they beat the Packers 38-3). The Bucs, if they beat the Eagles, would host the Cardinals or Cowboys.

The only downside to this scenario is if the Rams and Bucs both win in round one, the game is in LA instead of TB.

Yes NO can actually upset the Rams I don’t see them beating Yampa three times in one year and it’s a chance I’d be willing to take. Hell NO can probably go to GB and beat them the week after as well

What do you think about Bell? Is he still an effective runner? I dont remember seeing anything that stood out yesterday but he is another option to throw to.
Thats what stood out, he caught the ball at the running back position with is horrid on the bucs right now. Bad thing is you have to bring him in and out becuase you want jones running on run downs.

There is absolutely 0 chance that Bill will pay 18+ million on a wr with the defense to rebuild
Yeah there is no chance in hell a top receiver goes to the patriots. I mena they literally just spent 80 mil on pass catchers this offseason.

And they are all B's and C's with the exception of Smith who is an F.

Maybe cooler heads will prevail and he can return. Or not.

I doubt Arians would do it and have to deal with the media and it's a risk if he goes crazy again in the playoffs. It's a shame Godwin went down.

Would hold onto ab. Yes he's insane like Kyrie. But I think having ab makes the Bucs a SB contender and needed with Godwin out for the Year

I think Tampa is working with the league to figure out how to suspend him that way they don't have to cut him and have another team pick him up off of waivers.

If the Bucs have the ability to suspend him and keep him on the roster, then releasing him is foolish.

Hope they keep him just to see everyone’s head explode, starting with Florio. Gotta love the completely stupid takes that this was all Brady/Arians fault. What was their fault? They don’t have a wide receiver they wouldn’t have anyway if they had released him earlier? I’d love to hear the explanations for how they’d be better off had they put their foot down sooner.

I'm not saying that he was wrong to do so, but Arians running his mouth off about Brown not being a Buc anymore has probably complicated things.

How do you keep Brown and Arians? Arians burned those bridges to the ground, then blew up the river, salted all the land in the area, killed all the game around, and pissed on every corpse.

The Buccaneers are done with receiver Antonio Brown. Unless they aren’t.

As ESPN reported earlier today, the Buccaneers didn’t release Brown today, due to “ongoing discussions” with the league regarding “how to move ahead.”

Via Mark Maske of the Washington Post, there is no consideration of league-imposed discipline for Brown as a result of Sunday’s incident. Instead, the Buccaneers and the league are discussing the “procedural steps” and the “designation” that the team will use on Brown.
