It does. Would be my 3rd key. I'm a little less worried with Chubbs out. I think the D has been better with Barmore taking more of Godchaux's snaps and Collins taking more of Bentley's snaps
Collins is doubtful for this game

You do realize that means they were saying the other guy had a 5% chance of winning, right?

You'd have reason to be upset if they said 100%, otherwise, math is math.
Thanks for the lesson in statistics Mr. Lee

So the Pats DL doesn't matter?

I might put LBs as third key. I expect the DL to absorb run blocking and stops to depend on the Pats’ LB corps to clean up. If they do that effectively I like the outlook.

If Collins doesn't play then I'm more concerned. Hightower, Judon, Collins, Van Noy is a very solid group. Plus Philips and Dugger near the action.

Agreed, losing Collins would hurt. I’m wondering if High will be assigned to spy whoever is the Browns’ RB, and trust the rest of the team to take care of the rest of their business.

Garrett is trying to get into Jones’ head. Really a sign of respect and even concern. And the kid ain’t taking the bait. I think he is going to play well this week.

Big break if he can play.

Really concerned about Mac's health this week as a mediocreIQ might want to pass 45 times this game, spread offense without adequate protection, which could be disaster with sackmaster Myles Garrett trying to hit Mac.

If Stevenson plays, that still gives them two physical, versatile runners who can play all three downs, plus JJ to give them breathers. I’d be much more concerned if both Harris and Stevenson were out.

Mac is fearless and the OLine is way better now with Onwenu at RT. But this doesn't mean they should air it out 45 times. #1 thing is protect the rookie and don't mentally scar the kid and ruin his career. Go to max protect as much as possible. The beauty of having 2 TEs is you can max protect but they can outlet out if the defense didn't actually blitz.

Agree keep a strong dose of runs, Stevenson JJ and Bolden. Run at least 25 times. Don't abandon the run.

Godchaux's snap counts have been quite consistent with the exception of the two Jets games, so I don't know what you're talking about here. He's also been playing very well of late, including being the hammer on every short-yardage situation, where the Pats have been great of late.

Garrett has a foot issue. Does not mean it will impact him a lot, but if he is not 100%, it would help.

He's not the reason the run D has gotten better. RunD was a definite weakness the first month. I don't have time to find the clips but Godchaux gets blown off the line. It's true the runD is better now but it's not because of Godchaux. He was a master while on the porous Dolphins RunD, of accumulating high tackle numbers while not being stout on the DLine.

What's the absolute number of snaps and also how about compared to Barmore, Wise, and Guy over time? If there's a link I'll take a look.

Ok I see the snap counts. RunD has gotten better as Barmore has become the #1 DLinemen in snaps and Van Noy's snaps have increased as well. LBs with the most snaps are Judon, Hightower, Van Noy. Barmore leads snaps among DLine during the winning streak. Godchaux is .... a person with a body

God has been playing more B (as opposed to A) gap and Davis has been playing more. He has absolutely been playing better as opposed to earlier in the year. Takes time to settle in and get comfortable in the defense. Communication, technique, etc.

Browns have no RBs. I would advocate for playing most of the game in nickel, problem is which DBacks see the field?

JC Jackson, Mills, Bryant, Philips, Dugger.
Judon, Hightower, Van Noy.
Barmore, Guy, Wise.

Collins first LB off the bench.
Keep Bentley, Slojuan, Godchaux seated.

Team is really light on true man-corners. Really misses Gilmore. Could have been a contender-level defense with Gilmore.
