If Bolden is our lead back on Sun, we're in trouble. He can't run between the tackles (except for draws when in passing situations).
They will have to unleash JJ - and risk pass protection for the spark he could be. If we don't have a run threat, their D will overpower our O.
This game means a ton for our season. AFC seeding, TNF game following, still have Titans, Colts, Bills x2.
If we lose - no playoffs. If we win - good shot of playoffs.

Pretty big statement with 7 games remaining. You must see them going 3-4 or 4-3 the rest of the way?

Bolden has been really useful lately, but as the main rb, I only believe in him on draws on 3rd and 25

I get your point but he might be right. The Browns are the type of team they need to beat, a team in the playoff hunt. If they lose to the Browns, they will have only beaten the Jets in six home games.

Sure but they will have 7 games left. Plenty of time.

But yea......1-5 at home would be brutal. Playoff teams don't do that.

So what is the game plan if the big RBs can’t go? Lean on a sporadic passing game? Agholor and Smith offer little. So Meyers, Bourne and Henry? Some passes to Taylor? Never know what can happen, but seems pretty easy to defend.

Bowling w Ekuale!

RB is RB. 80% of running game is on OL, blocking.

The fact that they did not add (or have) a single RB on PS could suggest they believe at least one (Rham) could go. It is very uncharacteristic as it is that they did not add some if nothing else for practice/scout team. Or maybe they believe there will be no running game on either side

We will need to be able to run. Cle is not a juggernaut on defense, but they are top 5 in sacks, that has not spelled good for the pats. I could say the same for the browns too though.

Getting everyone ready for a Friday:

Wynn has allowed a team leading 18 QB pressures. It's almost as if LG might be a good fit for him.....

.
Interesting dilemma for us when he comes back...I doubt we activate him this week, but when he's back, where does he go and who is our starting 5? Do we bench Wynn, move him to LG or keep him at LT? Interesting choices for the coaching staff. Onwenu is a pro bowler, I don't care where he plays, but he has sure stabilized the right side of our line at RT.

It's an interesting problem. From a practical standpoint the OLine has been playing well the last 3 weeks. I think Onwenu at RT solidified the entire line, would keep Big Mike there. He doesn't work well next to Wynn. If Onwenu stays at RT then I'm agnostic on the left side of the lineup as there are some strong acerbic opinions about Wynn and I'm neutral on this. Wynn seems to have played more adequately next to Karras and looked terrible next to Onwenu, they couldn't stop or recognize basic stunts the first 6 wks. If the Pats have to find a place for Trent Brown I would plug him at LT (where he won, you know, a Superbowl ring) and see if Wynn remembers LG from college (he does).

Wynn has played a lot better these last 3 or so weeks but is still scary. Owenu needs to stay at RT.

I think it's too late in the season to start experimenting with Wynn at LG. TC was the time to do it.

Our O-tackles playing well in the run game:

I'm still praying I get to see the BWAMO line at least once this season

Brown can play either tackle position. Onwenu can play RT or LG. Wynn so far is just a LT though long term he could be a G. Assuming we want all 3 to be starting, those limitations suggest Wynn at LT, Brown at RT, and Onwenu at LG.
