Second to Gronk who can also block like a beast. Kelce did not change anything about the position.Correct.
But his ability to create separation and get yards after the catch are second to none.
He's going to get serious consideration for the Hall.
I'm a Gonzalez fan. But when at their very best, Gronk is the best TE I've ever seen. He was generational.
Both him and Kelce have redefined the position.
Every time I watched Brady connect with AB, I kept thinking that could have been us, should have been us in 2019.Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the stars of last night show:
The 1st star is former Patriot Tom Brady.
The 2nd star is former Patriot Rob the Gronk.
And the 3rd star, former Patriot Antonio Brown.
Now where would these Bucs be without these guys bailing them out.
Kelce showed mad respect for Brady after SB 55. Honestly, I wasn't a fan of Kelce's antics to start his career. But he's matured. A better person.I mean...somewhat true. Gronk has been the absolute prototype of a classic tight end.
Kelce...I actually like the guy; I think he's one of the classiest opponents out there. He shouldn't get knocked for his lack of blocking. He should just be considered some other type of position like a Move TE and a hybrid TE/WR. Same argument about Jimmy Graham when he was doing similar things. Bottom line is, whatever you call him, he's a big time asset to have...just not close to the same level as Gronkowski.
Is he now ahead of Peyton?

Hill on the other hand...I'm not a huge fan of. I don't like the fact that he doesn't face the media after tough losses. It annoys me that he throws tantrums when he doesn't get the ball enough.
Now, I would change my username from Mahomes to Kelce. But it won't let me.
I do think we need to remember that Dallas' offense was facing a very depleted Bucs secondary (starting CB was lost in 1st quarter, starting S missed the entire game and the S3 had cramping problems and missed a chunk of the game, leaving a practice squad player to take his place). I don't say that to denigrate the Cowboys, but to point it out with regards to the Cowboys' upcoming game against the Patriots. That group of WRs is very good, but last night may be fairly close to its current high playing level. This is my biggest take away - secondary and skill guys puked all over themselves, 4 TOs, crap load of penalities and they still won and would have won most likely by 2 scores if Godwin does not do that stupid spin move near the goal line with under 5 minutes to play.
The offense is smoking and yet still lots of room for improvement especially once Gio is fully incorporated.
Dallas is a really good team. Their receiving corp may be only second to the Bucs in the NFC.
Keeping the numbers pure eliminates subjectivity in stat keeping. I don't agree that such is a thing that keeps stats "still in the stone age". Quite the contrary, I think it leads to more reliable data overall, particularly for average to long careers, save for a very rare individual who's good or bad luck has been absolutely extraordinary.Just shows how football stats are still in the stone age compared to something like baseball. Brady finished with a 97 passer rating that would have been around 130 if not for two interceptions that weren't his fault. I cringe every single time he checks it down to Fournette.
I'm trying to figure out how the Bucs receivers with their size let someone intercept a hail mary in the first place LOL.
Yeah,I like the aggressiveness with the Hail Mary throw. Gronk almost had it. Godwin and Evans were in the area but it seemed like they were in Lala land.
Gronk's a first ballot HOFer.He's going to get serious consideration for the Hall.

He looked really good last year. Like shaking the rust after his year out of football off. This will be huge for them. Hope he stays healthy. Buccs games will be fun to watchGronk's a first ballot HOFer.
Yeah i agree. Their offense looks oiled. Their front 6 is stout. Only the secondary might be an issue don't know about the injury time. But they like to play agressive which may be helpful. Also they used to get good pressure with 4 guys so i think they solve coverage issues.Bucs will be fine. They'll be in Los Angeles in February health permitting. When you have a -3 turnover ratio, all those penalties and still win? Those are very fixable mistakes moving forward
They should win next week. After that, they go cross country to play the Rams, then have to go up to New England the following week. That's probably going to be their toughest two week stretch this season, unless the Saints are able to show themselves as a real threat.Bucs will be fine. For QBs, that's why looking at win totals and playoff success should be looked at hand in hand with stats to determine how good a QB is. Brees had passing yard stat padding in playing from behind a lot. Manning had a lot of TD stat padding with many goal line throws instead of runs.Keeping the numbers pure eliminates subjectivity in stat keeping.
