watching this, once again, makes me even more pissed Brady and Gronkowski quit on the Pats and their fans

He just needed last season to shake off the rust.

He was afforded the luxury of taking a season off to recharge physically and mentally. Can't say I'm thrilled with how he handled the retirement/reinstatement/trade request, but he's a good football player. Most NFL-caliber TEs would've executed that TD given how poor the defense was.

It‘s week one. Too early to tell anything. Teams in week can look far better or far worse than they will for the rest of the season. The Bucs should be one of the best teams in the league, but there is no telling if Gronk, AB, or even Brady will be playing at this level come week 18 at their ages.

Besides, despite the scoreboard right now, the Cowboys have arguably been matching punch for punch with them.

Yeah, a bit.

It's tough seeing guys who had extended playing careers/were icons for the team I support succeeding elsewhere, after spending the vast majority of my teen years idolizing them and tying up my identity as a Patriots' fan in those players. Definitely feel a bit jealous/bitter, just as I would if I saw an ex running around with someone else.

If you get your jollies from trolling other people, do your thing, I guess.

Dallas is capitalizing by relentlessly attacking the secondary. The right thing to do as that's where Tampa is most weak.
