When your idol puts together a winning season, talk to me moron.
Belichick's next 20 years after the 4 were unbelievably good, better than anything Noll could dream of.Given who was drafted, and developing, during those first 4 Noll years, I don't think this argument is what you think it is.
So you're just going to keep moving the goalposts, then? Well, at least we all know that you do that because your arguments suck.Belichick's next 20 years after the 4 were unbelievably good, better than anything Noll could dream of.
I think his misery stemmed from the crappy team around him in addition to the ridiculous contract Bill offered in August of 2019. Brady knew he was done and he had to play out the string playing with Bill’s busts and misfits. Bill failed Brady. I don’t know why he gets such a staunch defense.I am sure Brady didn't like how Belichick treated him, but I also think Brady decided that at age 42 that he didn't want to go to a team without enough talent to give him a serious shot at the Super Bowl. It was clear Brady was miserable in 2019. He didn't hide that fact. I don't think he wanted to go through another year like that.
Clear as crystal. This is it. He can't be defended, he just managed to screw the pooch.I think his misery stemmed from the crappy team around him in addition to the ridiculous contract Bill offered in August of 2019. Let's be clear. I have no interest in talking to you ever again. When your idol puts together a winning season, talk to me moron.
Until then, go to hell.
Why can't stop replying me then POS?Let's be clear. I have no interest in talking to you ever again.
Stop replying with crap or say something that can actually be debated intelligently.
I doubt you can...
Haha, I move the goalposts. Hilarious coming from you. Every single one of your posts is deflecting. Never ever admitted one single mistake in decades on these boards. EVER. If wrong, move goalposts. So you're just going to keep moving the goalposts, then? Well, at least we all know that you do that because your arguments suck.
Brady > Bradshaw
Shocking!
Let's be clear. I have no interest in talking to you ever again.

"absorb Gronk's salary" ?!?! Gronk is frickin cheap for what he brings. As a short-term option, of course it did. They won the SB. Tampa is a dog-**** franchise and had nothing to lose.
They had the cap space to absorb Gronk's salary. He was healed up and was in a good frame of mind.
Yes, I am.He's a Brady cult member, like a lot of people on this forum...
Well, I see I touched a nerve.
It's not an opinion, Camille.
Gronk wanted to get paid- again.
I knew it.Why can't stop replying me then POS?
Go to hell buddy. You and BB, preferably.
See you never again, idiot.
I'd say after 2002 if they had another losing season.Probably/Maybe.
So he would have been fired after the 2001 season?
There's video of Bob for one of those documentaries saying Bill was not ready to be a HC in '97.McDonough reported Kraft wanted BB but BB would not commit (for obvious reasons). When you're turning a team around and turning over the roster, it doesn't happen overnight. The fact is, Belichick created an unbelievable defense in those years. And it wouldn't have been the first time that Drew Bledsoe lead a Patriots team that started 0-2 (after a bad previous season) with a Belichick defense to the playoffs (heck, the Super Bowl).
They got rid of old-overpaid players. That they got rid of players who couldn't hack it under Belichick (and there were quite a few).
See above regarding Drew. The D was trending in the right direction to be good enough to keep them in games, but the O could've move the ball worth a damn with Drew.No awareness that they added Richard Seymour, Matt Light, David Patten, Larry Izzo, Mike Vrabel, Antowain Smith, Roman Phifer.
They had a solid roster, but they weren't loaded. Aside from 2007, 2003 was their best roster. They were f-ing loaded.
That's sure a long time for a team that was just 2 years removed from the playoffs and with a soon to be $100M QB.It's been reported multiple times they had a 5 year plan to make it to the super bowl. Dont know why these things get forgotten.
Gronk was told this year he was miserable in New England.Gronk wanted to get paid so badly............ he quit work and retired.
WHAT ?!?!?!?!
Those that want to get paid, don't retire. They keep working for the max amount they can get.
He cost us one SB and won 6 of them. And what can't be accounted for is all the players who stayed in line and kept their eyes on the rize because they knew Belichick would not put up with their BS. Heck, even Brady cost us a Super Bowl. And he's still the greatest of all time.
The loser here is you, pathetic prick.I knew it.
The more you post the more you expose how pathetic of a poster you are- which you just did.
Why do you think i'm stringing you along?
You want BB to go to hell. You are a loyal fan of the New England Patriots. Right.
I'm determined to chase pink-hat frauds like you off the board.
Loser.
Much needed help hahahaI had to step away for a bit, now I'm back to the Team Bill vs Team Tom battle:
I'd say after 2002 if they had another losing season.

The difference between the 96 team and the 2001 team was night and day for Drew. Drew was uncomfortable as heck in the 2001 offense being under center as much as he was because Woody couldn't snap the damn ball. They had to go out and get Mike Compton for crying out loud. Smith was not Martin, the line wasn't good enough for Drew to take deep shots, there was no TE and I can't remember why Glenn was MIA. Drew was just not a fit in NE anymore.
They got rid of old-overpaid players.
