Did Brady get an offer?

What is Brees’ current offer from the Saints? I haven’t heard about specific numbers, but I think that it will be right in line with his last deal. Also, I think it’s safe to assume that there has been some type of framework laid out for Brady, too.

Brees was deciding between retirement and playing another year in New Orleans, as he's said that he now wants to take it one year at a time. Brees was told by the team that he was wanted back. Brees agreed to return. Brees still doesn't have a deal, but he knows he'll be playing in New Orleans.

Brady is deciding between the Patriots and another team, as he's said that he wants to play until he's 45. Brady was told, via public relay from Kraft, that it's BB's decision. BB has, by all reports, not given Brady an offer. Brady does not have an offer, and doesn't know where he'll be playing, because his coach can't be bothered to stop screwing around.

So what's your point here?

I disagree. I think Quantum and others are correct in their assumption that BB is waiting for the CBA situation to be cleared up.

For our sake, let’s hope they have a plan A (no new CBA) and a plan B (new CBA). That’s for starters.

To answer your question, I don’t believe that he could send out one magical tweet that ends all speculation, but at one point the Brady that we knew for almost 20 yrs would’ve handled this differently.

As others might say, I guess he’s “earned” the right to be a bit of an attention whore (?)

I’m sure that the organization would love to have Tom stay through the age of 45, as long as he is playing at a level that justifies his salary and spot on the roster.

If this is really a pissing match about anything more than a two year deal, he’s already long gone; which actually makes sense for how he’s acting because he already knows that they aren’t going to do that.
