If there’s one good thing from blowing the bye, at least Tom’s final possible home game can be a playoff win (not that they couldn’t win round 2 but Titans certainly are easier than the Chiefs). Hope he gets sent off with a big standing ovation in case this is it.

Pats beat Titans at Home
Pats win at KC
Bills/Texans go on to win at Ravens

Pats will host Bills/Texans in AFCCG.

I know.... :)

Hmmm.. so it sounds like our OL is decent and we have a good run game. Ie less excuses for a QB in decline.

You already made a thread for your anti Brady rhetoric. You wanna keep it consolidated, or you gonna go all FCB and drool all over yourself about how bad he is in every thread you post in?

pats run game since Wynn returned & removing the Ferentz game v Chiefs:

139.8 yards per game
4.7 yards per carry

Their run game is more or less back from last year. Without the pick 6 vs. the Texans & Dolphins they probably ride it out more. Their play action passing game efficiency is top 5-10 & their standard drop back passing game efficiency is bottom 10. Can't abandon the run if they fall behind.
The problem is they abandon the run even if they are ahead or level. Almost eveyr game , 2nd or 3rd series josh goes crazy throwing the football. Even the bills game , when edelman went out, what do they the next series, throw throw throw punt. Finally they turned to they running game again.
I am frankly more irritated with josh's playcalling this season than anything.

They still don't know who they are. It's maddening

Makes you wonder if they spread themselves a bit too thin in terms of coaches on offense this year to the point where everyone is working crazy hours and some compromises are made.

So many new bodies in the gameplanning room after a ****ton of experience left the building last year.

It can be so predictable. The playcalling against buffalo was one of his best. They used the running backs. The problem with this offense is just the lack of explosion. They just don’t have that number 2 wideout. Sanu is not that guy. Also they have gotten absolutely nothing out of the tight end position. Watson has been a corpse. LaCosse is a bum.

From what we have seen since the BYE on the field LaCosse is a solid blocker and has solid hands. Watson can still run and catch the ball. It is not their fault that for whatever reason they only get targeted max 1-2 times a game.

Either they stink it up on the practice field (which we have no way of knowing) or Brady/Josh are not interested in using them. The explanation for the latter would be pretty interesting.

All you can hope for is a trip to KC. I want that more than anything. I wanna see them fight for another week. Anything can happen against KC. Maybe bill outcoaches reid again. Who knows. Just win and give yourself a chance against a team that will be a heavy favorite against you.

I think everyone pretty much has exactly the same thought. Except maybe for the trolls.

Not sure. It's BB, Josh and Tom. No excuses to have not settled on an offensive identity yet.

If we were talking about Flo/ OShea or the OC in DAL who shaves once a month then that's different.

The other factor to not like about this matchup is dean pees. He has given brady fits

That game in tennessee last year got away for the simple fact that they decided to throw the ball 28 times in the 1st half and only run it 8 times and was down 24-10 at HT and that was it.
McDaniels is an absolute moron if the gameplan for this one is anything other than getting the ball to Michel, Burkhead, White and even Bolden. Honestly if Brady is throwing it better be on a 3rd and long or a designed pass play to White or Burkhead or even the Roberts play a couple of times if they start creeping up to play the run.

as for dean pees giving brady fits meh, with the exception of last year's game and the 2012 playoff game Brady and this offense have pretty much shredded his defenses

and make shift oline

What? everyone projected to start this game aside for Karras were the starters when training camp started and when you factor in that Karras has been the starter at C since Week 1, this is the starting OL. Hell 3/5 of this oline was the oline in the last 3 SBs and the only reason why it isn't 4/5 is because Andrews had a freak medical issue.

Belichick should put this countdown on all the TVs in the facility and the scoreboard in the stadium

Giardi saying this will be a classic "get the F back" game due to Tennessee big play ability. So, 2 safeties deep and middle wide open...this ain't ending well if Giardi is right

This type of D is dependent on the other qb screwing up...and Tannehill isn't making mistakes...

Yeah, bc the quarterback has been AWESOME the last 8 games....do you watch NFL football?

Also of note, Coach Bills success vs his former personnel last couple years..losses to:

Bill Obrien, Mike Vrabel, Matt Patricia, Brian Flores....

And wins over Flores, O'Brien (a 3 pointer at home)

Not encouraging

Not sure where that post you quoted implies he was awesome, not sure you have high school level comprehension at this point. You and AutoMechanic seem to make it a point of emphasis to degrade Brady every chance you get, not sure what substance either of you provides at this point.

If we can beat Tennessee and KC, I'll at least know and be happy that the Chiefs aren't winning the SB this year...If we lose to Baltimore, so be it. They are a great team.

The strength of the offense this season is the running backs. Use them like the Buffalo game keep the defense guessing and just shorten the game.

Pointing out flaws is not degrading...Brady has not played well. Had he a typical Brady season this year doesn't lose to Miami or to Houston - two games in which the quarterback threw costly interceptions
