Did he fly down there in a hot air balloon?

Could be they have in fact heard from the league and they've stated hes in the clear or the investigation will be wrapped up by the playoffs. Perhaps the league hasn't tipped their hand
Does anyone actually think that he’s going to be cleared of two different sexual misconduct cases against two different women with all of the countless hours of media attention in 2019?

Is that really a possibility? They’re just going to quietly sweep it under the rug? That doesn’t sound realistic to me. Didn’t we recently hear about how he’s looking at a significant suspension that may last deep in to 2020?

The NFL has been incredibly quiet about this issue. Beyond bizarre.

Oxymoron.

I think they’ve been incredibly quiet because they’re taking their time and having him serve what amounts to almost a full season in 2019.

I’m expecting the investigation to wrap up sometime during the offseason, where he’ll likely be suspended into 2020.

I'm sure Belichick will have a well thought out answer when they ask him about this.

I can't believe AB doesn't have an anti-trust case against the NFL. This is way worse than Kaepernick.

That's why I think the Patriots lose their case with Brown. It would be in the best interests of both owners and player association to make the Patriots pay Brown. It's tough to argue your rights have been violated when you make 30+ million after crapping on two teams.

I don’t think they’d be working out Harris too if that’s all there was to it. You have to also factor in the need.

Why ? Makes it seem more genuine if they mix in the favor to Rosenhaus with actual workouts.

I am not saying this is definitely what happened. I just fail to see how none of the other 29 teams in the league did their work on him in all those months if there are murmurs that the league is only bluffing.

I just don’t think it’s only as a favor. They have a need. And that’s especially so if Thomas is injured. They are clearly interested in a receiver and Brown is one guy they’re interested in. As for other teams working him out, what other teams have the need and also have the structure in place to handle him?

Yeah maybe. I just don't agree that this is any indication about the league bluffing or not about putting him on the exempt list.

If the Pats couldn't, no team in the NFL has the structure to handle him.

I think the indication of that would come if they actually sign him.

If the Pats couldn't, no team in the NFL has the structure to handle him.

That perception should answer the question of why the Saints are the only team who are just now working him out.

...or they want to wait and see what comes of the evidence presented in the civil suit

There isn’t anything to clear. The police have said there’s no case. Or do you mean clear him from wild accusations made up or exaggerated by the media? Unfortunately you can’t be cleared of that. It’s worth pointing out Rapelisberger got 6 games when it was all but confirmed by the police that he raped her. AB has already sat out 13 games.

AB has already sat out 13 games.

He is unsigned. He has not sat out a single game and any punishment that will come his way will not retroactively consider that time as "sitting out".

Source?

If he signs and actually plays for NO without a suspension Brady I’m assuming would be raged out.

Imagine us facing AB in the Superbowl.....

one more time..... Fck Kraft

If he helps the Saints win a SB this place will go nuclear.

Imagine Brady watching Brees throw to Thomas, Cook and possibly Brown.

Meanwhile Brady’s chucking to Meyers who is dropping easy balls hitting him in the numbers while we all say “Hey, even with that, not bad for UDFA”

Clear him with the NFL, who acts as their own “court of law.” Obviously, they’ll need to clear him in order to allow him to play.

Neither Elliot nor Roethlisberger were charged by the police, and they both received suspensions.

I’ve enjoyed your thoughts on the matter, but the idea that there are 31 other teams who are just sitting back without signing him is silly. He’s obviously been blackballed and the league is taking their time reaching a conclusion.
