It's not a knock on the Patriots that I don't think they can go toe to toe with such an explosive offense. It's a credit to the Chiefs. This team absolutely needs a guy like Diggs and Sanders (Not just one) to go toe to toe.

Scheme didn't influence (Aka help) seperation during the 2018 regular season. All I'm saying is KC's offense is 2013 Broncos like. And we all remember how that season ended for the Pats. They were thin on offense due to injuries. Right now the OL and receivers aren't on the same level as the Chiefs. But things could change.

And before anyone asks, yes A.B. would've helped. But he would've did something to get suspended by November. Better to cut ties now than later in the season. Agreeing with the decision to cut AB and saying the offense isn't great can both be true.

Not be disrespectful, but I don't know if you know this or not - the Patriots beat Kansas City twice last year, including at Arrowhead where they've traditionally not played well. And they were relatively banged up heading into that game. Both times, people such as yourself were saying similar things heading into each match-up.

I'll say the same thing now I said last year.

And the year before that.

Predictions in September and October mean nothing when it comes to the reality of what will happen in December or January. And if you're a Chiefs fan, then I would spend my time understanding that even should Kansas City be fortunate enough to get even in the regular season rematch, it won't mean much if New England goes out there again in January (if KC gets home field) and ends the Chiefs run (again).

Patriots included. You can’t win a Super Bowl without having your defense at some points be tested greatly. The Chiefs are a heck of a team but hardly the first “unstoppable” aerial attack that we’ve seen hyped up. And ironically, if there’s any team in the NFL that is designed to shut down the Chiefs, it’s the Patriots.
