Brown Goes Off, Takes Shots at Patriots Owner Robert Kraft on Twitter

What a bunch of clownish posts from you. I'm truly amazed at the lack of immature, non-arguments posted in response to any post I make about Antonio Brown on here. Never a serious response despite many valid points being made. Tells me that many of you let news headlines and social consensus determine what you believe.

Why the hell - of all things - would the Pats specify to Brown who he should or shouldn't text? How would they even monitor that? More specifically, telling him not to text the most irrelevant accuser of them all - the artist - as opposed to the accuser of sexual assault/rape - would be a strange condition.

They didn’t monitor anything. It showed up in the SI article. You, evidently are the only person who does not know this.

Your claim that they told him not to text one of the accusers as opposed to the other is throwing crap against the wall and seeing what sticks.

You are flailing with so much misinformation that it is hard to navigate around the pile of BS.

But please, spend as much of your time possible to argue for Antonio Brown. He’s worth your time and effort.

.

Getting a BJ (or, we should say, an HJ) from a prostitute may not be in the NFL's standards, but there's still miles of difference between that and rape.
It hasn't been publicly released. Furthermore, Bob Kraft has never claimed to be innocent. He may have admitted in private conversations with the League that it happened. No sense obtaining a video to prove the guilt of a guy who admitted he was guilty.
You missed the point, the NFL said they would wait for the final outcome of his trial, and do nothing, even though as you say, they know he is guilty (he got a HJ one day and a BJ on the other day).

On the flip side, they are letting all teams know that if they hire AB, he may be placed on the exempt list for allegations in a civil suit that was wrongfully filed and has to be corrected. In fact, I believe it was reported he has yet to receive the paperwork that would allow him to respond.

It is night and day the way the NFL is handling these two cases (one criminal, with charges and being prosecuted) and the other a civil suit for monetary compensation. Trust me, if after the interview with the accuser, the NFL had been given anything to hang their hats on, they would have already placed him on the exempt list.

This has nothing to do with AB being a dumb azz for sending the texts.

Hahaha, they had VIDEO of KRAFT getting head! Anyone would have stayed quiet. Jesus Kraft is being prosecuted for multiple counts of prostitution. They have proof!

Note: I've been an ardent supporter of Kraft getting off because of cops overreach, but we all know he's guilty as sin.
Dude the guy is like 80!!

As much as you may get all righteous,
half of the world, including players, owners, judges, PRESIDENTS, your friends your neighbors..... are doing that.

His wife died, he has money and wants to have CONSENTUAL sex with some one.

By law, he is guilty, yes and WILL FACE THE CONSEQUENCES!!!!!
Kraft will face and ACCEPT his punishment and move on.
Because he ultimately WORKS FOR SOMSBODY... The NFL!

But he doesn't need some holier than thou person comparing AB to how Kraft has handled this.

AB is nuts.
One took the high road, and one took the " HIGH" road!!

You may be the most illiterate poster on here. Absolutely none of what you're saying aligns with what I've posted. Illiteracy is the only explanation. The bolded text is a flat out embarrassing conclusion to draw from my post. It's not a "claim" I made, bud. It's a clear and obvious hypothetical posed for the sole purpose of questioning the common sense of the other poster's claim.

You obviously were not on the Kraft thread where all I did was defend Kraft. I'm certainly not judging him. In fact, idgaf what he or anyone else do with their private lives.

The topic is whether the NFL is treating Kraft's obvious violation of the so called shield the same as AB's alleged violation of the same, and they clearly are not.

Is AB a dumb azz for sending the texts, absolutely. Is AB guilty of a crime, any crime? Absolutely not. At least not yet. Nothing has been proven, yet he is out of a job.

Those that argue he is out because of the texts are being naive. The texts of all things he has been accused of are the least troublesome. Right after he was let go, NFL came out with a statement. The statement makes it clear the NFL is placing AB in limbo. NE had no choice but to let him go.

Maybe the NFL knows something we don't. I don't know, maybe.

Throughout this mess, I’ve been amused by how some here who were so quick to condemn Kraft have tried so hard to defend Antonio Brown. I don’t get it.

One guy gambled his family fortune to buy the Patriots and keep them in New England. He hired Bill Belichick when many said he was crazy to do so and has overseen the longest dynasty in NFL history.

The other guy celebrated coming to terms with the Super Bowl champs by failing to settle a sexual assault lawsuit that had been negotiated inviting a lawsuit to be filed and the inevitable media frenzy that followed. Of course, this guy conveniently failed to divulge the pending lawsuit to his new employers. He did catch those 3 passes and one TD before going off the rails again by demeaning a struggling single mother and announcing that someone was going to dig up some dirt on her.

Anyone who gleefully wants to demean the first guy and make excuses for the 2nd guy is an ingrate and an imbecile.

You’re posting hypotheticals??? Son, you are lost. I feel bad for you or anyone who will stake their efforts to obfuscate for such a person as Antonio Brown. As PT Barnum said 100+ years ago, there’s one born every minute.

Maybe you can start a new thread advocating for Tobacco companies, New Coke, Bernie Madoff and Jim and Tammy Bakker.

It is truly amazing the level of lack of comprehension in the threads on this forum. Once people become entrenched in an idea they can't seem to parse different aspects of a topic. You are either all in or all out. Things have to be black or white. It is what it is.

Antonio Brown. Sure! It’s very deep and complex. There are so many gradations to him and his situation. We just need to better understand him and his needs. He stuffed the 15-20 people I. That SI article because he wanted to help make them better people. The police were called to his homes on those 9 occasions because they wanted to meet the great man. The furniture that just missed hitting thatctoddler was really just Antonio giving his family a gift for their home. And the group text with his-posse to that artist was a nice social call to help introduce her to some potential clients.

Meanwhile it is Bob Kraft who is the problem to society?

Please advocate more for poor misunderstood Antonio Brown for everyone here. This is hilarious.

Sure whatever you say. Lmao

Given some people’s adulation for Antonio Brown, it’s probably best that they never met the Reverend Jim Jones. Another guy with charisma and a happy smile who counseled people to “call God”.

You are obviously ignorant of legal guidelines governing employer obligations in handling complaints about harassment and employee sexual misconduct. Among other things, retaliation against someone who files a complaint is prohibited. That’s why.

You can argue all you want that you don’t think that should matter. Your uninformed opinion does not matter. What matters is the league and team legal counsel opinions, and I am sure they would consider protecting the legal rights of both accusers to be free of retaliation and intimidation and harassment to be equally important for both of them.

I'm not sure what you are talking about. Maybe you are still stuck on the other thread?

The topic being discussed is how the NFL is handling two different cases, one concerning an Owner that is facing criminal charges, the other is a player facing a civil complaint.

Remove all names, call them Owner X and Player Y if that will help you.

It won't because you confuse anything with the name AB in it as advocating for the guy. That is not hilarious but rather sad.

I didn't realize AB's attorney is part of his gang posse. Lmao, nice stereotype there dude.

Sounds similar to Kraft being accused of involvement in sex trafficking. I mean that was alleged as well, no proof but it was out there. Why wasnt he sh%^t canned then? That is way worse than what AB is being accussed of. Double standards is right.
You claiming a group tweet can’t go to both his attorney and his homies? That’s a nice stretch dude, but totally misrepresenting the style of that tweet. If AB’s attorney was on that tweet he should have immediately fired his client, for being such a dumbass.

No, actually it’s too bad they never shared a cold one with the good reverend Jones.

Not disagreeing the text (not tweet) was an extremely stupid, dumb, ignorant thing to do. I couldn't believe it when I read it.

I believe his tweet (that is the topic of this thread) refers to as he says different strokes for different folks, which as another poster noted, is kinda hilarious.

Argue in the other thread. Help it get to 10,000. (Or maybe merge this one over there too...)

NOTHING.....N-O-T-H-I-N-G from the release from employment of the player was due to the rape allegation civil lawsuit.

It all came from him contacting the artist accuser who is not even filing any civil lawsuit.

The artist accuser was contact by group text by Antonio Brown and his posse for the sole intention of intimidation. THAT is why he was summarily let go from employment. There is currently NO judgement on Antonio Brown from a legal court system. It is merely an employment issue. And it was handled perfectly well per his contract.

If Bob Kraft contracts and intimidates any victim accusers (if there are any) in his case, then he should face the same scrutiny/penalties from the league (which has NOT at this time punished Antonio Brown at all).

This has been discussed ad nauseum for 500+ pages on this website. It is what it is.

Eh, I'm sure Vencol and TBR are nice people. A bit misguided on this issue but I wouldn't wish that on anyone. It's always ok to agree to disagree.
