Our OL depth is awful.

Strange. I'm no Dante Scarneccia or anything but Ferentz was one of the worst O-lineman I have seen this preseason.

they don't have anyone better.

I only saw him at G and it was disgusting.

I'll be very interested in knowing why Bodine was released. Some were expecting him to eventually be starting at center this season.

I wonder if this is just temporary. Bodine doesn’t have to go through waivers (unlike the other two backup OL), and they kinda need somebody who knows the playbook to be ready in case of a Karras injury.

We can only stop "Thanks Dad" Ferentz for so long.:D

He was in as center in the last PS game and did terribly. Got steamrolled on the very first snap, IIRC.

Anybody know how good Ted Karras is at Shot Gun snaps??

Do we get back the 6th round pick?

I'm actually mildly concerned about this. Last year the interior OL was so strong with Thuney-Andrews-Mason and now the middle of that is a very weak link.

I find it funny. When he hangs it up (or is forced out), Ferentz is going to have a bunch of rings and quite a few years in the League. Regardless of what people think of his play, it's impressive he's been able to stick.

Andrews’ condition/injury looms even larger now.

Bills fans were raving about Beane when they traded him to us...

I haven't seen one good thing written about him in their forum

Guess they were right, this time

Oy veis meir.........:(

Seems Bodine didn't fit for whatever reason(s), be it attitude, ability to learn the playbook, coachability, investment, etc.

I doubt it was a skill/talent issue; Pats don't cut players because they lack raw talent/skill, they coach them up in that case. They do cut you if you're not willing/able to receive coaching. Seems like a bit of an indictment on Bodine, but I could be jumping to conclusions.

Bummer we lost a draft pick on this failed investment.
