NFL Draft: Day 2

The world has literally gone mad.

Nah...we're just old dinosaurs from the generation that lives in the real world for the most part. These guys today may as well be cyborgs they're so connected electronically. They literally THINK in 144 characters.

Why "unfollow" after your team drafts competition at your position? Why not stand and compete and not pull this passive agressive -I'm-mad-at-you sissy crap?

I'm from a different generation. Thats behavior of an entitled loser

Clearly you have a grossly different idea of what it means to be entitled. And no. I don't believe it has anything to do with whatever generation your from. Honestly, that's a cop out.

Sorry, drafting a QB at number 1 over-all in the draft isn't drafting competition. Not with the financial burden that comes with that decision. Not when they just made you a top 10 pick the year before. That's drafting your immediate replacement and it's a slap in the face to Rosen.

How is it being entitled when the team has basically said "We don't think you're good enough and we don't want you" and has actively been shopping him? How can he "stand and compete" with a team that isn't going to give him a fair chance? And no. As soon as AZ made the decision to go with Murray, Rosen's chance for the starting position in AZ became zero.

To me, AZ handled the entire situation poorly and, as a result, have screwed themselves and Rosen. AZ's issues last season were with their O-Line much more so than with Rosen. They made some minor acquisitions that are boom/bust types by adding oft-injured Marcus Gilbert and Max Garcia, but their tackle situation is bad.

Again, the whole "oh he's not being a man" because he deleted the Cards off his instagram feed is honestly a major over-reaction. Had he made some comments before doing so, then I'd agree. Had he taken shots at the Cardinals, then sure. But, to my knowledge, he did it without saying anything to anyone. It was someone following the Instagram feeds that saw it and commented to the media..

Ok, so with the 32nd pick, we take N'Keal Harry. What do we do with the 56th and 64th pick? Trade? Double dip at WR? Go for a TE?

At this point, if we do go for another WR, I wouldn't be mad at a possible trade up for AJ Brown, sit at 56th and 64th for Deebo Samuel, or even Riley Ridley...Or TE Irv Smith/Kahale Warring

Thoughts...
No more WRs other than perhaps late-round camp fodder, the team already has enough to work with. I want to see maybe a TE but otherwise OL depth and anywhere on defense -- especially LB, DL and corner.

Wasn't it Buschbaum the guy who wrote the article in the spring of 2001 that the Patriots were the LEAST likely team to GET to a Superbowl in the next 5 years? BTW- IIRC, it was a good analysis that few Pats fans disagreed with. ;)

Don't know if Buschbaum said that or not. I do know that he and Belichick were very good friends and that Belichick was one of the few people who was asked to speak at Buschbaum's funeral.

Beat miami to the the beast he would Pry rather play there because he starts right away

It’s a somewhat pathetic snowflakey move to unfollow someone on social media because they upset you. And I think it’s demonstrative of where his head is. I actually started the video thinking I wasn’t going to agree with Steve Smith, but a) nice to see some passion from a network that is usually so bland, and b) his argument won me round. I think he’s spot on.
More like it's obvious the cards are moving on, and he's doing the same. Nothing snowflake about it.

His point is fair though. If we’d drafted a LT in the first round, would you want Isaiah Wynn to “check out”?
They wouldn't draft a LT in round 1. And if they did Wynn can play other positions on the oline

Fair enough. I’m not that interested in the trials and tribulations of Josh Rosen.
Me neither. It's just semantics. For the record i don't want him. Why pay all that money to a backup qb?

I think that is a logical and reasonable action to take.
I think it’s meaningless, unimportant and a joke that anyone would even pay attention or care.

Rosen comes dirt cheap, that's part of the appeal. Locked up for the next three years for a total of <$2 million. Hoyer's making $3 million this season.

Its an observation and an action that shows he is having difficulty dealing with competition and how his boss perceives his ability.

I have zero respect for passive -agressive behavior.

Lovely piece on NFL Network on Dalton Risner. Draft him!

No. It doesn’t show any of that. It shows he did something on social media.

Essentially he was fired. So he stopped following something so his phone wasn’t lit up with posts and articles about his replacement.
You realize cardinal Instagram is all about Murray right now right?

What kind of a person WOULDNT turn it off?

It has nothing to do with competition and I would hope he disagrees with his bosses premature evaluation of him after throwing him to the wolves.

You seem to want him to be competitive but not be bothered by being replaced before having a reasonable chance. Those 2 things conflict.

In any event none of this is proven by an instagram action.
You are the one acting like a teenager by pretending insta is the world.

The list of names on the right could be targets for trading 2020 picks to us

He wasn't fired. He is still an employee of the Cards

I know....You like proof.

In my experience with social media, when people "unfollow" other people or things that means they have a problem.
