Sheriff admits there’s insufficient proof of human trafficking in Florida case

It would appear the man running the case was under the impression he was investigating trafficking.

It looks like trafficking,” Martin County sheriff Willian Snyder told WPTV.com. “It feels like trafficking. It sounds like trafficking. I believe it is human trafficking. But we are just a little short to being able to prove that.”

That’s what Snyder says now. Here’s what he said in the aftermath of the charges becoming public: “It was clear to us that this was a trafficking case because of the circumstances I enumerated: They’re not leaving, they’re there 24 hours a day, the hygiene was minimal at best, just a bathroom. So we took it upon ourselves to not do what could be the easy way out . . . and we turned it into a trafficking case.”

Triumph's trolling, and what little was left of his credibility, hardest hit?
Will an admission by the Sheriff that began the investigation of no human trafficking be enough for Mr. Andy?

Hell no, only if ************ himself comes down from the Heavens holding a tablet that says: "Andy there was no fv*king human trafficking!" Will he believe? Nope, Andy will just say how do I know you're JC?

I don't think the Sunshine law applies if the evidence is excluded based on a faulty warrant as is alleged.
Agree, that's the only way they can keep videos from coming out. They better pray Palm Beach warrant was only for monitoring like the Martin ones (a ruling would still be needed).

That’s not what he said

I have never ever, ever said there was human trafficking occurring. I have said that at whatever point I said it the information available to us said the investigation was about traffic.
The sheriffs words confirm exactly that. Pretty much word for word.

You are correct. My point is that everyone, including you, are ready to punish Kraft. Yeah , right, due process has played out? Ha ha

Where’s the verdict? Where’s the jury? Where is anything ? But yeah cool. Due process is over right? Because dirty cops who use Nixon like tactics got them an illegal video??

Riiiiight. Hope you never face this same idiotic type of witch hunt. So yeah. Whatever
Still not sure what you mean or why you are projecting sarcastic anger at me. I am not “ready” to punish Kraft. I was commenting on what I think might happen. That’s it. And Tom Brady was the victim of an idiotic witch hunt way more than Bob Kraft. Kraft did something stupid and got caught, perhaps by cops who overreached, but “dirty” is a little much.

In every man's heart there's a little boy wanting, nay needing to be punished. Why do you think they make them black stilletto thigh high pumps?

WTF, Joe ... You sound like a Jete fan. o_O

I've seen a bunch of people here saying that, and while it may well turn out to be true, I wouldn't assume it to be true just because.

Evidence being suppressed at a criminal trial is done in order to prevent a 4th amendment violation in the process of prosecuting the defendant. But being suppressed for that reason has no intrinsic linkage to not being a public record. The point of a public record is to promote transparency by allowing the public to see information their government is generating/collecting/using. That is a completely distinct purpose from the purpose of evidence in a trial. So it doesn't follow that not allowing it for one purpose (evidence in a trial) means it is not allowed for another purpose (governmental transparency). That said, it's certainly possible that the FL public records law specifically designates suppressed evidence as not a public record.

So it would be interesting to see if any articles (especially in the Florida papers) have touched on this specific point, especially if there are quotes for lawyer types not involved in the case.

Since Bob is such a high profile person, he should ignore this as it will simply go away.

It works like a charm for Politicians.

This Franchise has had the divine hand upon it for 18 years. Perfection is an attribute of the divine. When Eli took away perfection, he was going the work of his father, the devil. Same with 2011. Wes had the ball...but Luciferian forces created the drop.

Eli has paid the price with the destruction of his career and his team.

Now Mr. Kraft is clearly God's man for today. Yeah he is flawed in the way old testament leaders were flawed. But any attempt to embarrass or convict him will result in terrible consequences for the league and the south Florida area.

Leave God's prophet and leader alone! Don't be surprised if Godless Goodell is diagnosed with an ancient plague if he goes after Bob.

What?
Do you not speak English?
There is no way you can get that out of what I says.

What do you think I am “admitting”?
A do you think I am wrong about?

It’s like you are reading a sentence that says it rained today and concluding that I admitted I was in the grassy knoll and shot Kennedy.

You just got done saying that there is no evidence of human trafficking.
There was no collusion. Etc.

I can speak English fairly well but if you prefer French or Latin, we can do that. Or rather, I can.

I just don’t want kraft to be guilty. That’s the long and short of my argument. I admit that he probably is but after that stupid deflate gate debacle, I’ve not wanted any more dumb stuff to happen. Now, we have Roger Goodell talking about fair and smart?? The very concept is frightening at best.

This whole case has stunk from the onset, not doubting that Kraft availed himself of these illegal services, but over time the DA has watered down their initial allegations and now Kraft has upped his legal game.. when his attorneys appear in Ct. they will ask for discovery which will probably include the affidavit for the search warrants along with all of the evidence they have..

It all seems so blown out of proportion, while in reality it appears he paid for a hand job(2)... what he did was wrong, but it is not the end of the world.. the greatest punishment has already been doled out embarrassment for him, his family and the Patriots.. somehow some of the pundits have linked this to "Camera Gate" or "Deflate Gate", both of which are completely misunderstood by the general public, but bad news sells and there are plenty of buyers..

The endgame here is for the Court to dismiss the charges on procedural issues, but that will not right the embarrassment he has suffered.. then of course there will be some copied surveillance footage that will be sold to the highest bidder..

Nope, he is still denying it or that the Sheriff admitted it, because he is incapable of reading between the lines.

If at the beginning Sheriff said "we suspect that is behind this human trafficking ring," Mr. Andy would believe it because the Sheriff said it and there was no evidence that disputed it.

If a month later the Sheriff said "we haven't yet found the evidence to prove was involved but I'm telling you my gut told me he was involved," Andy would insist that was always involved because Sheriff believed it and to this day nobody can prove otherwise.

Above exagerration to make the point that there is no possible way anybody can win an argument with a person that isn't intellectually honest or that performs mental gymnastics in an attempt to not admit being wrong.

Honestly, it's kind of amusing although in an annoying sort of way.

Andy will only acknowledge black and white. Until an abstract becomes a proof, it's still an abstract to him.

Debating him on conjecture, subtleties or trying to convince him to read between the lines is a waste of time.

You are like the little brother who says the absolutely inappropriate thing at the absolutely inappropriate time, yet I still can't help laughing behind my scowl.
