Dorsett is jag with speed. He is great at running the top of the route tree, but can not command double coverage.

Did you happen to miss game-3 when Dorsett went 4 for 4 running Edelman-type routes (including a couple tough catches)?

Also, how many eligible pass-catchers can a defense double-cover on one play?

Quick question. I have never heard of a guy being called a banana before. What is the origin of this?

I'm guessing the player is soft like a banana? Or maybe a player is the sh!ts because a banana is shaped like a giant turd? The player has no appeal?

I saw. But I see a lot of things in preseason that never materialize in the regular season.

Hypothetically, Gordon.
If you can get Dez with vat minimum and incentives, does that not make sense? Did he kill someone in Dallas? He had almost 900 yards in a rushing Offense last year. He's younger than Edelman.

I don't think Dez can move like he used to.

I’m guessing that he’s fragile. Him and Hogan are the tap out brothers.

I understand the fascination with Gordan but he isn't reliable at all. I know what we have and am comfortable with the current WR corp. What we need is reliable depth that can come in and get familiar with the offense in case of injury.

I'm all for getting a freak of nature wild card on the roster but we already have that in Patterson.

Gordan is a huge risk. If that guy even smells like he walked ten feet from a roach he's gone forever.

Tony, Tony .... Idk, idk idk man.

Would you rather try him, trade for a Gordon who will cost you, trade for a Tate who will cost you or pin your hopes on another SB appearance on at least one of the two new JAGs to be a reliable 4th receiver. In essence one of them has to take Mitchell's place in production. Not start, but fill in for plays with production.
Best blocking WR I ever saw for the Pats albeit for two games was Floyd. Would have taken a shot with him because he did have some familiarity with the system.

Well let’s see how long they stick. Not a fan of darboh.
Funny, I’m the opposite, I loved Darboh coming out of college, and was a big Hansen fan as well. Thrilled with the signings, but staying cautiously optimistic.

I integrate him into my offense as much as he can handle and what makes sense.

If he goes all Cheech and Chong so be it. The upside is worth the risk
So he shows up, acts right, is playing well and lighting it up by October. He becomes a focal point of the offense. He gets suspended 12/1. You can’t revuild your offense.
Alternatively, you give him Patterson’s role. Patterson returns kicks, and sits on the bench.
Gordon quits or gets suspended and you go to the postseason needing a guy you sat on the bench all year and he has no connection with Brady.
It’s not IF Gordon implodes, it’s WHEN.
Why ask for trouble and give up draft picks to get it?

We have 4

Edelman
Hogan
Dorsett/Patterson
Patterson/Dorsett

All are pretty much in the role that was expected of them.

maybe he changed his ways?
He just SKIPPED TRAINING CAMP because he was sad that he was going through a child custody case and his addiction doctors said he should stay away from football so he doesn’t relapse.

The Chad Hansen pickup... think it's just normal inner-division scheming to pick his brain on the Jets, or an actual roster candidate?

The guy did look decent at times.

They lost Gronk in 2016 and did fine because they had depth. Just because you lose a player doesn't mean your season is over.

I think you and I have different views on Toast's role here.

Hes worth it. You don't agree. Thats fine.

Willing to bet that Hansen sticks longer than Darboh; and I like Darboh.

He's not worth anything more than a 6th round pick. There's no chance that he makes it fully through this season - which would be all we needed at this point.

Woodhead all over again.
JK. I don't know if and when he'd be an actual roster candidate but this is not just to pick his brain. I suspect he'll compete with the other WR claimed and one of them will stick on our 53 but it would likely be awhile before they were ready for 45 man active game day roster.

No it doesnt but it makes it harder.

What do you think his role is?
And it’s junsa dumb to call a WR by the nickname of a corner who got called toast because he got burned in coverage all the time 35 years ago.

10 games in 4 years.
Quit in his team twice in the last year +.
Worth-less.

Its a helluva lot better than lighting up a fatty in the parking lot.

Floyd went to AA meetings while with the Pats. He was a drunk.
