Beyond that, trading him would be a disgusting own goal. He’s one of the best players on the defense at a position that is wafer thin.
Hightower for Mack or Donald, sure (not going to happen). Our D line would be the filthiest in the league and our LB corps garbage.
I love Hightower, but I think it'd be a fairly shrewd move, especially if you get good value in return. The injury risk is a very big deal when you're playing at such a high level as a team that dependability becomes absolutely key. In other words, let's just say we know we'll be in the playoffs. Who cares if Hightower plays 12 great games a year, essentially not improving our status as 'already in the playoffs', if he's not there to help us when we're playing in January? Then we're playing a backup who wouldn't be as good as a lesser starter than Hightower who we can at least depend on.
i liked troy brown a lot more when he wasn't part of the media.Seems like Troy throws a random take here and there to grab attention.
