I actually think the loss of Danny hurts more than butler and Dion.
And because you feel that way, he won’t draft a single one of ‘em!I think both of these areas can be addressed in the draft. Pretty solid draft class this year both at rb and cb
We still have gilmore and Rowe, both j jones and c jones coming back as depth. We still need to draft a corner but it’s not like we must start him week 1.
At this point JEII=????Just cant keep a crap load of good players, Im sad guys like butler, Lewis and Dola are leaving but we all know it is impossible to keep them all...would we prefer JEII leaves?
#Titans' starting secondary: CB: Malcolm Butler (@Mac_BZ) CB: Logan Ryan (@RealLoganRyan) CB: Adoree' Jackson (@AdoreeKnows) FS: Kevin Byard (@KB31_Era) SS: Johnathan Cyprien (@cyp) Strong group. And the oldest guy just turned 28...
Butler and Lewis are quality players, and nobody here should be surprised that they are getting paid accordingly. Let's not have the usual nonsensical bashing of the departed, this year.
$20 million for 4 years.they have Henry....don't know what the money is, but seems strange

Danny's a bit player, unless Edelman gets hurt. Lewis was, by far, the team's best RB, and the starter. Butler was, without question, one of the team's best 2 CBs.
But is beating the holiday rush and having the usual early panic still acceptable?
I agree that butler was one of our 2 best corners. He was clearly #2 behind Gilmore. I don’t think we will see a drastic drop off in corner play without him. You just don’t drop 60 mil for butler when your already paying the better corner in Gilmore the same amount. We knew butler was a goner the moment gilmore signed. The super bowl reaffirmed it.
As for Dion, your really going to trust spending the money Tennessee just did on him? He’s a good player for sure. He’s not an elite rb. Here’s 2 mid round rbs from last year..Kareem hunt and Alvin kamara. What do they have in common? They’re both better than Dion Lewis. It’s not impossible to not only replace these two players in the draft but to actually get better. Not saying it will happen but it’s possible.
That is not overpaying.$20 million for 4 years.

they didn't watch the grass grow last year and look how those moves turned out. i could care less about Lewis and butler. amendola hurts but giving him the contract the phins did is risky considering dolas injury history.Patriots watching the grass grow
