I'm pretty sure he'll pass concussion protocol in 200+ days when the season starts.
Boy you're just throwing that joke out there a lot...

Cooks was running with the ball. He protects himself by being a football player.
Your argument would either result in half of the defensive players in the league sitting out every week or no one tackling.
Do you really want to see a running back take a hand off run up the middle, lower his shoulder as he is taught to do and then go through ten minutes of replay so the ref can decide who to eject because a rb age a lb played football and the result was head to head contact?
A defender that is up right like this and could easily make a form tackle
but ends up coming in like this
Should be flagged and don't give me "it's tough to call". They seem to easily make the call on defenseless receiver hits. They also seemed to make the call on the Smith-Schuster hit.
With two other defenders that nearby, Jenkins' best option - for his team - would have been a wrap-up tackle while attempting to punch the ball out for a turnover. Even if Cooks breaks that tackle he isn't getting very far afterward.
Because he was flat-out ragdolled from the head down. If anybody knows anything, it's not on the first page of posts. Will check back in the morning.

Looks to pretty much fine...
I have no problem with this play by Jenkins. Cooks has to know at this point in his career that the DBs are gonna look to put a huge hit on a WR, given the opportunity. Make a statement on D. "You're not coming in here." None of us know intent. I believe Jenkins was looking for a big hit, not trying to injure. Cooks should have known in the second quarter of the SB, he needed to get down. The situation did not call call for a miraculous play. We've seen the video of Josh McDaniels telling the running backs to "not try and do too much" during the Atlanta SB. That's the coaching point here.He should have looked proud. He just knocked Brady’s first read out of the game.

Bill will release the injury report like he always does.
Cooks showed questionable field awareness (and decision making) on that play, as well as the leap frog play.Find it difficult to blame Cooks for that hit
Both very unfortunate since all he was doing was trying to make a play, but for all of the talk about how the stage would be too big for Philly etc, many of our guys showed some nerves, too, as did the coaches. He had two really odd plays. One when he tried to hurdle a DB and did not pick a first down and the other when he danced around and was knocked out. I will coach em' up.

I’m sure Cooks would love to have both of those plays back, as they were quite important.
He isn't invited to Brady and Pals summer clinicCooks will be even better next season. He was starting to heat up with brady. I hope he works out with edelman this coming offseason.
