I just had a weird thought. If he goes to Indy and wins a SB the Indy fans will hear how McDaniels is a cheater from spygate, deflategate. Then they will defend the coach by pointing out how overblown and made up that was.I think you underestimate the hate. The league and both national and local media have been doing all they can do poison every other fan base against the Pats for over 10 years now. There is now an entire generation of football fans that don't know anything else other than "the Pats (and by extension everyone who works or plays for them) are huge cheaters." Nowhere in the country is that stronger than in Indy.
I heard that too and he was in The Netherlands for rehab. There are rumors that Luck can’t get proper blood flow into his shoulder...
I highly doubt Brisket is in Josh's long term plans. They also have former Patriots QB Jacoby Brisset on the roster. Last time he took a HC job he tried to former Pats QB Matt Cassel.
Colts already had a former Patriot QB making it a desirable location.
This sounds like a best case Chad Pennington.I am not convinced Luck will ever be right. The Colts have let him take a fearsome beating.
After 2018 Luck's contract is very edible.I don’t think he takes the job if he had to use 3 on a qb and eat lucks contract. That’s suicide.
I think they go heavy on defense.
I think mcd will ultimately want to copy the patriot model of if you have a qb who can make everyone around him better spend your assets on the areas he doesn’t affect.
I think josh sees luck as that kind of qb.

At this point Luck is bonus. Josh needs to evaluate the career opportunity without Luck being part of it.Franchise QB + 82m cap space + #3 pick looks like a pretty enticing job
All dependent on Luck being healthy of course
Nah, they'll just say that one of his "lessons learned" was to stop cheating.I just had a weird thought. If he goes to Indy and wins a SB the Indy fans will hear how McDaniels is a cheater from spygate, deflategate. Then they will defend the coach by pointing out how overblown and made up that was.
I could almost enjoy that except I'd rather the Colts franchise burn to the ground and never win a game.

Why? Because you don’t know lucks health? At this point Luck is bonus. Josh needs to evaluate the career opportunity without Luck being part of it.
If he's working for the Dolts? I hope he does!Hopefully he doesn't get busted taping team practices like he did in Denver.
As of 12/31 Luck was in The Netherlands and had not thrown a football yet. He said that. He also said he doesn't THINK he'll need a 2nd surgery. Why? Because you don’t know lucks health?
Josh has that info to use in his evaluation.
Healthy Luck is an above-average QB. He is not elite.People here like Luck a whole lot more than I do. Josh might not even care about Luck. He'd be better off trying to find a GM to fool and get a few mid round picks for the INT Machine.
