Good News for Us: Ezekiel Elliott Plays vs Chiefs

Analysis | Cowboys get a legal Hail Mary, and Ezekiel Elliott will play Sunday says

Just as the Dallas Cowboys were prepared to begin life without Ezekiel Elliott for six games, albeit reluctantly, the second-year running back received another legal reprieve. For a third time, a federal court intervened to keep Elliott eligible to play for the Cowboys.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit on Friday granted the NFL Players Association’s request to keep Elliott’s suspension by the NFL on hold pending the union’s appeal on Elliott’s behalf of a judge’s ruling Monday.

The development clears the way for Elliott to play in the Cowboys’ game at home Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Go Cowboys, beat da Chiefs!

Against their run defense (or lack thereof), he may post a career day.

I'm more pissed off about the Zeke issue playing, not playing, playing, suspended, no he isn't, yes he is, wait, no, yes, no, on, off

........... than i am about the kneeling.

This is dramatic garbage. I hope everyone involved in this back and forth stubs their toe tomorrow morning on their bedroom bureau. F*kers

Just a thought, I don't know the parallels of the cases from a legal standpoint, but for people who wanted Brady to keep fighting his suspension, you're seeing what could have happened as the Zeke process plays out.

Worst case for the Cowboys: they make the playoffs but he's suspended for them because he kept pushing it out until he finally ran out of appeals. If he hadn't fought it in the first place, he'd be back by now, for the rest of the season.

Agree with those who say that this is good for the Pats if it helps the Cowboys beat the Chiefs! Good insight.

I was just thinking this...the chiefs don’t hav too many tough games left and this is a good opoortunity for them to lose.

Few things we have going well for us. They lose to crap teams. I'm sure Denver on NYE won't be easy for them. Jets and Bills could potentially be trap games. Also, I'm banking on them playing worse later in the year like they usually do. 12-4 or 11-5 for them.

Hey plays, he's not playing, he's playing, he's not playing, he's playing...

God damn courts system is a kangaroo court!

Back on topic: We will need to take care of business if there is a rematch with the Chiefs.

In this case, it is in fact fixed.
Goodell judge, jury, executioner. Chooses "independent" investigators, chooses venue, and therefore the NY judge, always with a connection of some sort.

I have become a fan of Kaep's latest move
after reading the NFL will be required to submit
email/cellphone data.

Still think it is the wrong fight, I am more concerned with employers dictating what I can do when not on the job. Zekes' situation is a disgrace. Far worse than Kaep.

But I had not counted on the bonus karmic payback for the 31 owners who sat on their hands during deflategate.

Nor have I forgotten the way the public attacked Brady for refusing to turn over his phone. Brady has been nothing but first class gentleman.
I cannot recall a bad moment?

On top of you know, 7 super bowls. He is great man. Of interest is a TV interview of Tom before the 2000 Orange Bowl, where he threw for 4 TD's and willed his intermittently willing team to a win.

The pregame interview reveals the exact same man.

So seeing his character attacked that way, for so long, for so many million$ for BS that had nothing to do with the outcome of the game?

Payback time.

Some team will be coerced into offering Kaep a deal, call it an escape clause.
Anyone see any way the NFL agrees to give up that info?

Another wildcard in this mess?
NFL allowing the dirty hits
as anti-union policy

Guys who want to kill each other are less, err
Unified.
