Let's hope he has a Chunglike revival!

Let's hope he never steps on to the field!

I like the signing, if for nothing else that the minority on the board who were suggesting moving from Brady to Jimmy sometime soon have to find something else to post about.

According to the newsfeed above Packers tried to
Technically there is nothing anyone could do right because it wasn't part of the Garrapalo trade, so he was officially a free agent, no? Even if there was a "gentleman's" agreement that he would go to New England, that would be moot if Green Bay offered him a 600 million dollar contract....Unless I'm missing something. I'm frankly surprised the Jets or bills or Dolphins didn't snatch him up just to F with us. :)

I agree. I can guarantee Kaep has been more busy being an SJW than staying in shape or watch a single minute of tape.
I prefer Hoyer to Kaep for the backup position for fit and lack of distraction, but the Kaep out of shape argument seems bunk.

Report: Kap willing to go anywhere for tryout

La Canfora described Kaepernick's daily workout, saying Kaepernick wakes up at 4 a.m. in New York City, gets a ride to New Jersey and does a multihour workout that includes more than 100 passes. He also works out in a gym for hours.

It's all rounding out to be yet another seemingly brilliant BB orchestration...

Hoyer is a good back up QB but nothing more

Hopefully he rides the bench his entire time here

Hoyer is not very athletic at all and has no deep ball. Incapable of winning games on his own . Game manager at best

With Rodgers down, the number of NFL QBs who are currently capable of consistently "winning games on his own" can be counted on fewer than 4 fingers.

just an fyi, you are using SJW wrong.

it's the only thing that sets the colts apart from the browns.......20 years of a good starting QB and nothing else

Quite possible. I'm intrigued by the contract details.

Like you, I expect them to continue the QB pipeline, but I'm not sure that they'll need to draft a player this upcoming year. Brady and Hoyer are signed for multiple years, so I could see the Patriots waiting to get their guy. I'm not 100% sold on any of the quarterbacks this draft cycle, including the top guys, so it may be prudent to wait a year, anyway.
Yeah, no. When Brady will be entering next season at age 41 it would be complete insanity to not draft another QB.

Wonder if Hoyer is on the roster next year, may draft a decent QB. Glad to have him back in in the fold for now, always liked him. Disappointed he wasn't better, but he's hung around the league as an undrafted QB.

I actually seem to recall BB specifically saying once that he wouldn't be coaching in his 70's
That was from 2009, I wouldn't put much weight into something he said 8 years ago.

Bastard disrespects the Great Flutie and grabs uni #2..............

.

The prodigal son returns.

WELCOME HOME BRIAN
May you show elite skills at carrying Tom's pads, and may you never see the field!

Lots of people say things about the future and never follow through on them.

Must we put such credence in a one-off quote?
