I'll have to call it for tonight, wanted to see Biscuitt play but I will try to get some highlights tomorrow.

Right now Carr and Hollister are the big names for me in this game in a Patriot uniform, JimmyG is doing really well, not a surprise though

I was hopeful he was coming around but he has the reaction time of a 85 year old man

As much **** as we gave Tavon Wilson, at least he was an NFL-caliber athlete who made good plays to help balance out the bad ones. Richards, by contrast... I have no idea what he's supposed to be. Is he Chung without the instincts or the physicality? Is he Wilson without the athleticism? Is he Sanders without the basic general competence? He's a bad athlete who plays slow, stupid, and out of position, and he doesn't even contest balls or tackle well. Every single thing he does is a liability. I can't think of a single thing he's done at any point in his career to justify his ongoing existence on an NFL roster.

Daniels is okay but he has no burst, no shimmy, and they take him out on 3rd down which doesn't bode well. You can find those guys anywhere.

Like compare him to this Grant guy on the Jaguars who looks excessively impressive.

So was Moore not out there tonight? I haven't seen him.

JimmyG is doing really well

He's just holding off father time for a day. Don't be fooled. You can stick a fork in him. Age catches up to us all, I'm afraid.

The LBs and DTs are gonna have to ramp up the tackling drills this week. Missing a ton of them tonight.

Jones actually got a good jam there

Fauria said antidote instead of anecdote.

On the practice squad? Or 53? Didn't really think he had a shot at the 53, barring injury to someone ahead of him or an incredible pre-season.

Yeah, I don't think anyone--even the Pats--is going to carry three RBs who are primary receivers, and it would have taken one hell of a preseason to beat out Lewis. I think he's shown enough so far that he's on track to make the PS, though. The fumble sucked, but **** happens, and the sick cut that immediate preceded it demonstrated exactly what's so promising about him.

How is everyone doing in the Game Day thread?

Did anyone get so mad that they turned off the TV halfway through the second quarter? Those are always my favorites. Usually some username I don't recognize too.

That was a familiar sight.

To be fair, other than the two big plays (which were particularly egregious), the defense hasn't looked terrible with all the backups in there. Garoppolo is 22/28 for 235 and 2 TDs. Pretty good, all things considered.

Lots to fix, lots to build on; seems about right for preseason.
