Was just writing this post..

Maybe the competition with Pats here isn't about Gill . but keeping information to themselves..

Expected but Great news!

It appears that the best GM in the league disagrees with you.
Oh, nice, the "let's blindly accept everything the GM does" routine.

The front office isn't always perfect. They misread the market on Bennett too. If we had waited longer, we could've had Bennett at 3/$21M; instead, we have Allen for 3/$17.5M, and lost ~40 spots in the draft when our 4th round pick became a 6th round pick. In hindsight, retaining Bennett at that price (after his market materialized and became more clear) would've been better than what we did.

Just because the Patriots are one of (if not the) best front office in the league doesn't mean they are infallible. It's possible for them to be the best at what they do and still have misteps.

And I'm hardly saying getting Gillislee is a bad thing. I love the acquisition. But given the cost, I think AP would've been an A+ move. Gillislee is like a B.

Nice move.

Hooray for the blue checkmark!

And, on a more serious not, my best wishes for LGB.

BB is such a master of NFL domain..

BB just spent a 5th round pick on a guy, when AdP was available for (allegedly) similar money and no draft loss. Let's hold off on the bouquets for a while.

Bills not matching! Awwww yeah!

Two strong running backs- check
WR who can stretch the field- check
#1 CB- check......
DL- who can rush from the edge- check

And this is before the draft.........
Hey Roger up yours.
BB and staff will be in South Philly getting cheese steaks at Pat's ( appropriately) on Thursday night..

i like it. i like it a lot. thanks for the memories LG. hope you get the cash you are looking for.

Realizing the prowess of the GM, who has built a team that has competed for the SB every single year, and supporting his decision (which was based on seeing a full work out of AP a couple of weeks ago), as opposed to some guy on a football forum wanting to sign a guy based on name recognition alone. Yeah, true blind homerism there!

is there an active bills message board out there? I wanted to gauge their reaction to this news? i know some were shut down.

I'm guessing BB wanted the guy 6 years younger with less wear and tear on him, especially when we don't see too many 32 year old RBs tearing up the league...

He got what he wanted . again.
Hence master of domain.

What future holds for Gill or AP is another game.
I am happy with MG.

I always liked Blount, but I'm happy to have Gillislee--hard runner who can break tackles and big gains as well. Good signing.

Doesn't help if you search for "Gillislee".

It helps if you just pull up Schefter's feed in a tab, and just update it when it tells you tweets have been added.
