Nice write-up.

But...

1. Juju
2. Thornton
3. Pops
4. Osborne
5. Polk
6. Baker

Yes, if Thornton improves and JJSS is back, that makes for a very good group...but aren't you missing someone? Bourne? Injuries will likely fix the crowding, but if not, that's 7. They aren't going to get Polk or Baker onto the PS. Something's gotta give.

Bourne should start the season on PUP; that gives JuJu Suck-Suckier & BoneyT time to distinguish themselves, or not...

"...The offensive line is not one of the things to watch in minicamp. And the handwringing about the OL already is far too premature...."

I don't understand this reasoning.

I don't understand this reasoning.
It's due to minicamps being "non-contact" or minimal contact.

Unfortunately that doesn't help this offensive line at all.

Hope I am wrong, but this unit could be a complete train wreck with little to no improvement over last year's OL train wreck.

I would have at most FOUR wide receivers active for Game One: Douglas, Osborn, Polk and Baker.

Which one or two do you want to be inactive so that juju and Thornton get a chance to distinguish themselves. BTW, starter season with SEVEN (Bourne plus six) seems excessive.

Personally, I would like the four I listed to get lots of reps if Bourne is on PUP or IR.
==================================
Of course, we continue (and should continue) not be diverted by the battle for Practice Squad roster spots, as we continue to sign UDFA's to compete with Boutte and Reagor.
