O line is indeed where it gets interesting. Steve’s right.

Don’t count out VLowe at LT. That’s his natural position that he played for Illinois in the Big Ten. Yes, he was underwhelming last season at RT. And that’s putting it mildly.

But Chuks Okorafor has already admitted it: making the transition to the other side after spending his six-year pro career on the right side is no easy task.

And Steve has Calvin A as a backup “swing” tackle. Not so fast. Isn’t he a left-side only player, like Onwenu and Robinson are right side only?

I can see Anderson as the starting LT, rookie Caedan Wallace as the starting RT, and Okorafor as the backup swing tackle.

LT looks like a position that could hold the team hostage this season. It’s happened before.

Two seasons ago at RT. Then the following draft a miraculous scenario developed that BB spurned for Marty Mapu in the third round. Unacceptable. Who needs budding all pro RT Dawand Jones?

In 1994 the Patriots were similarly “held hostage” in the words of then coach Bill Parcells at the center position. What did he do? Draft Syracuse’s Dave Wohlabaugh in the fourth round. Good move. Very good move.

Dave Wohlabaugh’s son is playing college ball at his dad’s Alma mater, having transferred there from Kentucky.

Wow. Time goes by fast.

Good guess at the roster overall.

OFFENSE
He talks about tough decisions regard to roster on Offense. I didn't see any. For me, it isn't a tough cut to lose a 6th WR Boutte in favor of STer Ellis.

DEFENSE
I don't expect Dial or Bledsoe to make the 53. I prefer Wade and Marco Wilson.

BOTTOM LINE
OUT - Bledsoe, Dial, Boutte
IN - Wade, Ellis, Marco Wilson, or free agents
==========
We still add a free agent corner, RB and/or S/ST

I don't know any team in their right mind who would want to trade for Smith-Shuster. He is most likely stuck for 2024 and will get released in 2025. They can't cut him or else it's close to a $10M cap hit. All eyes will be on the WR battle.

I hope Bailey Zappe is shown the door. This will complete the QB being cleaned out.

Will Gilmore sign before camp?

What about a FS?

Are you suggesting that Schuster won't cost us the same $10M PLUS a roster spot if he stays?

They are paying him whether they keep him or cut him. Trade is the only option.

you got any scoop on this Nick Leverett? I have a soft spot for Mafi since he mauls people.

I have yet to see a projection of the roster that includes JuJu.
Lots of peeps regarding Mafi and his offseason prep and in shape readiness. yet he got the call last season repeatedly over Jake Andrews.
Leverette seems to me an average interior OL that has some versatility, nastiness and could be the back up OC.
