It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Well, when Brady is 0-2 against the Giants in the Super Bowl and 4-0 against others I think it's perfectly reasonable to say Brady would rather not see the Giants in the Super Bowl.
How often does someone need to mention this.. we wouldn't be playing the 2007 or 2011 Giants. All of this 0-2 stuff is meaningless and has zero relevance for a potential SB rematch. You like others here are scared of their name and color.
Actually if you read my posts you'd realize that I'm not worried about the '07 or '11 Giants. I'm worried about the added distraction that our history with the Giants brings. Like it or not, a game against the Giants would have added distractions and added pressure, and while we won't be playing the '07 or '11 Giants it can affect performance.
Again, not "scared" it comes down to 'if you have a peference, of course I'd rather NOT deal with those distractions if I had a choice". Why is that either so crazy or hard to understand?
What distractions ?
You are concerned about irrelevant things. Look at the NYG team, try to imagine how we match up with them and then based on that get worried or confident. But hearing that you'd rather not face the easiest opponent we could have in a SB and rather play GB or Dallas just because of all the media noise is just irrational.
Why is it that everyone outside NE just assumes the giants will win another SB against us based on the past? This isn't even close to the same offense that won the super bowl for them in 2011 - they had Hakeem Nicks, Cruz, Ahmad Bradshaw and on defense Tuck, Umenyiora, etc. They are a completely different team and so are we. My goodness.
You are kidding, right? You really don't see how a game against the Giants could have added distraction and pressure? You don't see how the added pressure of potentially losing three Super Bowls could come into play at all? I think you do get it but just enjoy messing with people online..............I'll take it as that, because if you don't seriuosly see how that could add some pressure then we're done here. It's like when the Yanks played the Red Sox. There is added pressure about NOT making a mistake and going into the illustrious lore of the rivalry.
Kinda like Suggs saying, "you better hope you don't play us again".This idiot has 1 touchdown this year and he's talking trash?
The 2016 Pats would hammer the 2007/16 Giants.
Why exactly does every team "terrify" the Patriots?
Has there ever been an article that the Patriots "terrify" an opponent?
The idiots at nfl.com have us scared of everyone, why exactly?
Like I said you are falling into the narrative trap because while for the media and fans it might make a difference to who you lose - for the players and team it won't. A SB loss is a SB loss and hurts the same whether it is against GB, NYG or the Washington football team.
and being 2-0 in super bowls against them hardly qualifies as a reason why we should be scared of them for a 3rd one. so i am not sure where cruz is coming from.
