At the University of Hawaii, Salas had 285 receptions for 4,345 yards and 26 touchdowns. He was a 4th round pick by the Rams in 2011, and had 27 receptions in six games before being placed on IR with a broken leg.
At the end of the 2012 training camp the Rams traded Salas to the Pats for a conditional draft pick, which turned out to be a 7th rounder. Salas was released and re-signed to the practice squad two weeks later. On November 17 he was promoted to the active roster and appeared in a 59-24 victory over the Colts, then released again a few days later to make room for Markus Zusevics. Philadelphia claimed Salas off waivers, ending his career with the Patriots.
In six NFL seasons Greg Salas played in 29 games, with 50 receptions and one touchdown. He played in only one game with the Patriots, on the field for six snaps with no stats. Since 2018 Salas has been working as an assistant general manager for Learfield Hawaii Sports Properties, which manages the corporate partner and sponsorship of the University of Hawaii athletics.

The New England Patriots signed quarterback J.T. O'Sullivan their practice squad today. The Patriots practice squad now stands at its limit of eight players: WR Bam Childress, WR Kelvin Kight, LB Corey Mays, CB Antwain Spann, G Dan Stevenson, DL Santonio Thomas, G/C Billy Yates and O'Sullivan.
O'Sullivan, 27, was originally selected by the New Orleans Saints in the sixth round (186th overall) of the 2002 NFL Draft out of California-Davis. The 6-foot-2-inch, 227-pound signal caller has played in one career NFL game, but did not record any statistics in the 2004 regular-season finale for the Green Bay Packers (1/2/05). For two seasons from 2002-03, O'Sullivan was in active for every game as the Saints' third quarterback. In 2004, he served as the Saints' third quarterback for the first four games before being traded to the Green Bay Packers on Oct. 4, 2004 along with a 2005 second-round draft choice in exchange for cornerback Mike McKenzie and a conditional 2006 draft choice. He was listed as the Packers' third quarterback for 11 games before making his NFL debut in the 2004 season finale. In 2005, O'Sullivan was released by the Packers following training camp (9/4/05) and was signed to the Chicago Bears practice squad (9/5/05), where he spent the first nine weeks of the season. The Carmichael, Calif. native was signed by the Minnesota Vikings to their active roster from the Bears practice squad on Nov. 8, 2005, and was listed as the Vikings third quarterback for the final eight games of the season. He was with the Vikings in the 2006 preseason and completed 14-of-31 passes for 170 yards and no touchdowns with one interception.
O'Sullivan played in the NFL Europe League in 2004, starting eight games for the Frankfurt Galaxy, compiling a 6-2 record as a starter. He finished second in NFLEL with a 91.9 passer rating. O'Sullivan led Frankfurt to a berth in World Bowl XII.
The Patriots released O'Sullivan about a month after signing him. He played in a total of 17 NFL games, including eight starts for the 49ers in 2008. Since 2018 he has hosted The QB School, a digital platform where he provides quarterback play analysis.

The New England Patriots announced today the signing of RB JaMycal Hasty and rookie DT Bryce Ganious (pronounced – GAIN-us). The Patriots also claimed CB Tre Avery off waivers from San Francisco.
Ganious, 21, participated in the Patriots rookie mini-camp this past spring. The 6-foot, 300-pounder, began his college career at Villanova before transferring to Wake Forest for his final two seasons. Last season, he played in 10 games with eight starts and recorded 26 total tackles and 3 sacks.

Ganious played in 22 games for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons from 2023-24, logging 54 total tackles — 7.5 of which went for loss — and four sacks. Last season, he saw action in 10 games, making eight starts. He recorded 26 tackles with five solo tackles and five tackles-for-loss, three sacks, and seven quarterback hurries.
His standout moment came during Wake Forest’s matchup against North Carolina State, in which he recorded a season-high six tackles with one solo tackle and a tackle-for-loss and 0.5 sacks. The Houston, TX native added three tackles with one solo tackle, as well as a season-high 1.5 tackles-for-loss and a sack against Duke. Throughout his senior season. Ganious tallied at least one tackle in nine games and credited for at least 0.5 tackles-for-loss in six games.
Despite making their best effort to build upon a top-10 performance in 2023, the Patriots ranked at or near the bottom of the league in most defensive categories. Though New England’s irregularities with setting the edge are partly to blame, their lack of success in stifling the run began with the interior of the defensive line.
In hopes of welcoming back a healthy Christian Barmore, the Patriots further attempted to bolster their defensive line by signing former Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Milton Williams to a four-year, $104 million contract.
In addition to Barmore and Williams, Ganious is set to join rookie Joshua Farmer as well as veterans Jeremiah Pharms Jr., Khyiris Tonga and Keion White on New England’s roster.
Ganious did not last long.
