Weird they thought Amaro was like that. ASJ looks more like that. Amaro was bigger and I think faster, but he couldn't catch and he was, well, uncoordinated. He used to bumble over himself out there. Fast in a straight line, actually very fast, but a goon just the same. Can't think of many players who have good athletic ability but little coordination. It's uncommon.

He struggled last year when team went to pads and again this year. He can run good routes but his hands have been suspect and he has committed penalties and fumbled. If he was even close to good the Bucs would've kept him. Like i said, they're desperate for a 3, 4, and 5 WR. Every WR on our team is better than him. I'd resign Nate Washington before him.

Bucs GM has actually built a pretty solid team, so I think your criticism is unwarranted. Aguayo is the most accurate kicker in college football history and the position was of great need for them. They easily win 2-3 more games last year with a good kicker. No reason to expect the kid to not be consistent in the pros when he was so accurate and good in college. His game is all mental i think. I saw little issue with the Bucs drafting him in the 2nd round. Aguayo is believed to be a franchise kicker and someone who could make an impact and help win games for the next decade. He was the safest pick with highest chance of an impact imo.

Im sorry, the only thing the TB's GM is doing, is picking the no-brainer picks. Winston... Mike Evans (should've taken OBJ) and Hargreaves (who he was lucky to get because NYG took Eli Apple like idiots)
Other then that, a good portion of his picks from his time in TB are no longer with the team. Theres another team in FL that is leading the way on how to rebuild a team.

A player by the name of Alex Heaery had the record for just 5 years.

Henry a 4 year player from 2007 - 2010, was an unbelievable kicker during his time at Nebraska.

Truth is, Henery has better stats in college then Aguayo did. Aguayo missed 5 kicks out of his 26 kicks last year. he missed 20 % of the time.

In all honesty he has very similar states and was taken in the 7th round of the 2014 draft.


First things first, college kicking records don't translate to success in the NFL (that applies to many positions)

Second and more importantly, nothing in the world can rationalize picking Aguayo in the 2nd round. NOTHING, especially trading up to do so. Kickers are far from locks, and are generally drafted later because so.
Your top draft picks are supposed to be used to bring in top talent on cheap rookie contracts, which in return helps you win championships. The second round is still the bread and butter of building a team with elite talent on rookie contracts. Guys like Allen Robbison. In free agency, you can bring in a top level kicker for 1/3 of the price of a solid #2 wr, or 5x of the price as a true #1 WR, DB, DE, ETC ETC.

I'm right in thinking that if they claim him he'd have to be on the 53 for 5 weeks yes? I suppose the Nink suspension might help facilitate that with Reynolds or anyone else they claim that they don't believe will be productive early.
