I wouldn't sign him to the 53...
but he may be worth a look for the practice squad if we cut Gaffney and if we can't successfully slide Gaffney through to the practice squad.
Wilder is 6'3" 232, from Florida St., son of James Wilder, fell out of the draft after multiple somewhat minor scrapes with the law and a very slow 40 time that doesn't seem to reflect his on-field speed.
Could be a Blount-type back if he has the proper mentality and commitment. That could be an issue, though. Going into college he was the "it" guy and he never was a star at FSU.
James Wilder Jr., RB, Florida State
2 of my draft binkies very curious to see if Hunter can realize his talent.Titans waived WR Justin Hunter.
Titans waived RB Bishop Sankey.

No, I was a fan of ASJ. @patchick and Mayo were less keen.
@HawaiianPatsfan What makes you disagree with me on Kenny Bell? I live in Tampa and watch lots of Bucs football with friends. He is terrible. He didn't get cut because the Bucs are stacked at WR, he got cut because he was inconsistent and just plain bad. He couldn't make it to a 53 on a team that only has 2 legit WR's with at least 3 open spots to fight for. He wouldn't even be better than Lucien or Harper here.
You are banging the tables for Bell.Ive always enjoyed the Bucs as a team, so I follow a ton of their football. Yes that includes daily practice reports.
The dude, has never been giving a full chance to showcase his talents. He didn't play a single snap last year. Got IR"d, then had a decent/solid training camp this season. Started the first game and fumbled the very first kickoff in which the eagles scored 7 on. Got benched the rest of the game. Got thrown in the dog house for the next 2 games. (wasn't bad when he did play). Then he started the other day with the 4's in a pouring thunderstorm, and got a concussion.
Please tell me where you actually get the tape, or the body of work to say "He's Garbage"
The problem in Tampa is they can develop WR talent to save the world.
Evans was destined to be a future ALL pro, and Jackson was already an established player.
You're talking about a team with a GM who drafted a kicker in the second round. Only to have that kicker who "never missed" already miss 3 FG and a extra point, in the preseason, yet he refuses to sign another kicker because he's an idiot with a ego, that thinks he's Belichick just because he once worked for him.
Im sticking with what I seen from him in college. #baller
I know alot of people liked Amaro to be the new Hernandez but I saw a marginal talent.
Too slow for the slot not strong enough at point of attack when it came to Amaro.
Another reason why Derby would never make waivers.
Stephen Hill maybe?Weird they thought Amaro was like that. ASJ looks more like that. Amaro was bigger and I think faster, but he couldn't catch and he was, well, uncoordinated. He used to bumble over himself out there. Fast in a straight line, actually very fast, but a goon just the same. Can't think of many players who have good athletic ability but little coordination. It's uncommon.
LOL...kinda got a "fish in the barrell" feel about it, though.well, I remember that I, Joker the Indefatigable. predicted Jace Amaro would be a huge bust because...uh...because Jets happen, that's why. Good enough for a near 90% correct rating the past 45 years.
He was my binkie and we will see if pats see something if they gonna get him to PSThe Titans cut Jeremiah Poutasi, who was the second pick of the third round last year and started the first six games as a rookie at right tackle. He didn't play well at all and got benched, but he's got the size and athletic ability that he's a name to keep in mind as a developmental project at tackle.
He struggled last year when team went to pads and again this year. He can run good routes but his hands have been suspect and he has committed penalties and fumbled. If he was even close to good the Bucs would've kept him. Like i said, they're desperate for a 3, 4, and 5 WR. Every WR on our team is better than him. I'd resign Nate Washington before him.Ive always enjoyed the Bucs as a team, so I follow a ton of their football. Yes that includes daily practice reports.
