Some people really want Streater that bad? He had 1 decent year..since then injury.

People look at the current roster and worry. Streater would be a gamble, but it's not as if Moss circa 2007 is just waiting to sign in N.E..

I'd actually prefer Streater's teammate in Oakland, Andre Holmes. He won't demand even Hogan money.

Not true. He had 2 productive years. Then the injury. And this past year Del Rio didn't use him. No one knows why Del Rio didn't use him. There wasn't anything mentioned about his injury being lingering. But maybe it was.. However, it wasn't listed in the Injury reports for Oakland.

1 catch for 8 yards..

dobson's better than that!

He does have some experience in the Patriots system. But maybe the Pats have already seen everything they've wanted to see of him.

Maybe as long as he can field a goddamn punt cleanly.

Ha! Yeah, right. Every time I see Ross post I think of how we lost the right to host the AFCCG, and potentially another duck boat parade. I've basically replaced Ross' avatar pic with visions of Harper muffing the punt.

@Ross12 should just change his screen name to "Harper's Muff."

Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio reports Arian Foster (Achilles') plans "to be patient" in free agency.

I don't think he has much of a choice, to be honest.

He reportedly won't even be anywhere close to 100 percent until training camp, and is obviously coming off of a string of injuries--this last one fairly serious.

Bet Hicks gets 7 million a year
Bill said thanks we will try out Kearse for 1.5

If Hicks and his sorry ass 27 percent of the defensive reps last year command a 7m dollar AAV pact, I'm going to have a kid solely for the purpose of grooming him 24/7 to be a big fat ass who can tackle.

I'm talking no schooling, no playtime--just 16 hours a day of training, which will mainly include eating and swatting at a tackling dummy.

I still think Hicks is worth 1/2 that, at best. If another team wants to give him more than 3.5m a year, more power to them.

If the Pats were to sign both Boldin and Streater I'd be content at the WR position.

I think we need to start accepting the fact that we'll be lucky to sign one of them, but that's just my opinion. I don't see a real need to try and sign both, unless of course, they're planning on parting with Amendola, which may be the case.

It's hard to imagine a scenario where we have Edelman, Amendola, Hogan, Boldin, and Streater.

Depends on how much Boldin and Streater cost.

Looks like Streater left the Jets to continue his FA tour.

James laurinitis to visit NE

He visits Chiefs next maybe when he sees lots of money isnt on the docket this season he comes to New England and to his senses to be apart of something special.
Question is will BB wait patiently for him?
Doubt it.
