The Poster Boy of Sheer Stupidity

"One hundred percent there's a chance........I couldn't tell you the percentage of that"

What a wordsmith. This theory is the dumbest put forward by anyone, and that's saying something
Sheer Stupidity.

Its getting so there's barely a segment I don't turn off on sports tonight or early edition because one of these growing number of trolls are on.

Felger and Mazz have been yelling their theory that Belichick is involved with deflating footballs for a while.

They admit that have no proof of this, but they're using "common sense"

Dumb question, but would Belichick have any legal grounds to do something about this?

I mean, I would assume that if I started writing daily blogs stating that I believe that Felger is molesting neighborhood children, and while admitting that I have no proof of it, I keep saying "come on, it's so obvious, look at the writing on the wall", I would eventually hear from Felger's lawyer.

I'm no law-talking person, there was a situation with Jason Cole and Mike Shanahan back in 2007. Cole, who worked for Yahoo sports at the time, wrote a cameragate article where the theme was that this sort of thing has been happening in the league. He mentioned that the Chargers had increased security at practice because the Broncos were spying on them. Shanahan was ticked off, got a lawyer and, under the threat of legal action, had Yahoo remove that part of the story.

Not sure if Belichick has the same options or if he's even interested in pursuing it.

Good thing Volin doesn't depend on being able to communicate clearly for a living

Felger is approaching John Tomase levels of hatred from the NE sports fans. Why he has chosen this path...a path that defies logic, common sense, and realization of who's his audience is? This is career suicide.

His show's ratings indicate otherwise. Felger's made a mint by deliberately trolling the Boston fans.

I might be wrong, but I was under the impression they were in something of a decline lately. I'm not sure if that was radio or tv though. I /think/ it was tv and that I read that EEI had made some inroads on them.

How do people who are pants on head stupid get on TV to spout opinions?

I hope that's true. In the meantime, WEEI's online feed is down, and I'm going to be stuck listening to 98.5 if I want Patriots talk today.

As a result, given that as my only local choice, I'm currently listening to a Brazilian music station.

He is a Rhode Scholar compared to Tanguay and Bart Hubbuch.

hubbuch was on weei and still says brayd is guilty and compares the investigation to OJ's investigation. And here like dope he is arguing with lawyers on twitter. Says brady shouldve called mcnally and jj to prove his innocence and that former players are not sticking up for him too.

Another possibility: no player wants his name linked to what's become the most absurd controversy in sports history.

I don't see any players or former players sticking up for Tom Brady after this transcript was released. Why? Because they know he's guilty.

Bart Hubbuch ?@BartHubbuch 3h3 hours ago
@McCannSportsLaw Actually, plenty of players and ex-players have linked themselves publicly with the stance that he's guilty.

Michael McCann ?@McCannSportsLaw 3h3 hours ago
@BartHubbuch Which players have said, since publication of Brady's transcript, they think Brady partook in an alleged ball deflation scheme?

Bart Hubbuch ?@BartHubbuch 3h3 hours ago
@McCannSportsLaw Have you seen Mark Brunell, Joe Montana, Troy Aikman or Damien Woody change their tune??

Michael McCann ?@McCannSportsLaw 3h3 hours ago
@BartHubbuch It could be they don't want to admit their first take was wrong. Worst thing for NFL has been publication of the transcript.
Bart Hubbuch ?@BartHubbuch 3h3 hours ago
@McCannSportsLaw Why didn't Brady call McNally and Jastremski? Where are they? Are they dead?Michael McCann ?@McCannSportsLaw 3h3 hours ago
@BartHubbuch Why did Brady need to call anyone? The onus wasn't on him to do so. He answered all of the questions posed to him under oath.
Bart Hubbuch ?@BartHubbuch 3h3 hours ago
@McCannSportsLaw Because they could only help to exonerate him if he's so innocent. You don't find their total disappearance curious??

@BartHubbuch @McCannSportsLaw NFLPA/Brady attorneys were limited to 4 hrs of witness testimony. Could not call all probative witnesses.

@IA_Legal Those were pretty damn important witnesses, though, no? No way to fit them in? @McCannSportsLaw

@BartHubbuch @IA_Legal @McCannSportsLaw Why do you think the NFL didnt want the appeal transcript made public?

@JakeRuder33 @BartHubbuch @McCannSportsLaw For one, Goodell mischaracterizes TB testimony in his decision.

I'm not a lawyer so maybe I'm wrong -- lawyers please chime in.

Brady is in a union covered by the CBA. The CBA designates the commissioner as the person who can hear appeals.

Belichick is not in a union, so he could have (and would have) challenged it in court.

Are we sure Volin didn't co-edit the Wells Report? "More probably than not generally aware"... "100 percent there's a chance, I couldn't tell you the percentage on that, but there's a chance" ...

Possible? I don't know. I am sure that it is more probable than not that Volin is generally unaware.

Has that guy gotten anything right?

Hubbuch should really follow the saying "Better to shut up and let them assume you are an idiot or Tweet endlessly and remove all doubt."

I think in the last 2 or 3 months I have heard Felger and trolls twice. I now just get my news here and Dale and Holly.

I might be wrong, but I was under the impression they were in something of a decline lately. I'm not sure if that was radio or tv though. I /think/ it was tv and that I read that EEI had made some inroads on them.

Oh I wouldn't doubt that troll show has taken a hit and Dale and Holley have gained on them during these last few months over framegate, especially recently.

Last time I willingly listened to douche and squeakly for more than 2 minutes was their opening after the SB.

I just wonder how long NE listeners will support a couple of douche bags who despise most of the local teams, players, owners. Their recent attitudes have been eye opening...more than usual.
The mighty do fall....see WEEI. Its just a question of finding an alternative that is better. I live out of state and rely on Comcast for my NE fix....but Felger has driven me off. I can't stomach stupidity. Even worse....Comcasts evening panel sports shows.....Tanguay, Felger, Shank, Volin. Is Ben Cherrington in charge of the hiring up there? I now go out of my way to avoid the whole mess.

Fart Hubbach strikes again!

Correct. He pulled a 16 share during the last sweeps I think.

He is the undisputed king of Boston Sports Media.

The question is can it be sustained.
