Denver vs NE post game thread

We can't choke away HFA again. We had it in our grasp last year when SD beat Denver but failed to capitalize with a win in Miami. That can't happen again with an even tougher schedule than last year. That Miami loss should have never happened.

My man!

Tom Brady and Peyton Manning combined to throw 110 passes today, the most for two QBs in a non-OT game in NFL history.

Good thing we already lost to them then.

Posted this in the Chris Harris thread...

@Chiefs, vs Bills, @ Chargers, @ Bengals

3 out of 4 of those games are really tough games on the road.

Don't judge SD on the MIA game. Flying across the country in that muggy, humid swamp.

@ Arrowhead is always tough and the Chiefs may be in a must win situation

@ Cincinnati is tough and it could be a cold, windy day like today in Foxboro. Like KC, CIN may be in a must win situation.

Also, next week at Oakland? They played SEA tough, not to say OAK will win, but they played tough at Seattle

It is amazing although not altogether surprising that the Pats have totally rebounded since KC. The Pats have a tendency to start out seasons a bit slow, occasionally dropping a really ugly game.

Not surprised that the Pats have rebounded and shown they are a contender. I am slightly caught off guard by how quickly the team has improved in addressing our issues and executing on the field.

The offense is playing lights out. Props to the OL coach for really fixing that mess we saw in KC. Of course Tom Brady is scorching hot right now. Again I knew he'd rebound but just think a month ago Tom Brady was in rapid decline and now he is an MVP front runner. That is pretty hilarious to think about when you hear the pundits called "experts".

Still don't like the 435 manning had

Denver fans are saying this wasn't a big deal because they will win out the rest of their schedule. They have some tough match ups coming up and for all the praise that has been heaped on them they really haven't played well on the road even before today. Five of their last eight are on the road and it would be nice if they get crushed by someone else on the road too so people wont just say this beat down was because Peyton had an off day.

Alot of whining about the Refs over on the Bronco's board. Broncos had 10 penalties for 72 yards and the Pats had 9 for 71. Not seeing much bias there.

One guy said the Broncos were clearly still better than the Patriots. And if you thought otherwise, you do not know football. His reasoning was that the Broncos clearly had superior talent. Then he said the broncos problem was coaching and that the PAtriots have great coaching. He basically said the Broncos were a collection of talent. His argument was completely contradictory to what he was arguing for

yeah...try the cabbage, Kurt...oh wait, that'd be like eating a family member, you friggin no hope dope

Overall, on a position by position basis, the Broncos are the better team. But this isn't Madden you don't win by having the highest OVR rating.

Though the Patriots have a few players I'd take over every player on the Broncos - Revis, Gronk and some other dude.

Wow! I usually stop by before our game week to share my thoughts on our teams, but I had a busy week. Not surprised we lost, though I do truly feel that if we meet again in the playoffs, it'll be a different result.

Can't talk any trash though today, it's a great day to be a Pats fan. We got smoked. Fortunately, our schedule is pretty easy the rest of the way, and you guys have a tougher road. I think we take the #1 seed and the road still goes through Denver. If not, we're going to have a lot of trouble getting back to the Super Bowl...

Sorry, but Denver was the toughest team the Pats will face the rest of the way.. Road goes through Foxboro.

BB sucks as GM ? Hahaha. Ayers already made enough plays to justify trading down a few slots.

I would also note that Casillas - the other LB BB obtained - led all ST players with 3 ST tackles, as well.
