Gonna be a ton of jump balls due to Denver’s height at receiver. Hopefully, we don’t called for many (or any) DPIs..
Both Gonzo and Davis are bigger CBs.
Might give up a couple of inches on Sutton and Bryant, but no Franklin today.
Obv we aren't putting Jones on Sutton, don't think the height advantage will be that big of a deal, at least not consistently.

One thing that could get us in trouble today is getting dominated at the LOS on defense.

Looking more into Denver, their lack rushing attack is more due to who they have in the backfield. They’re very good blocking in every capacity, and really the unsung hero of why they’ve been able to get things done on offense.

They may be a top 5 OL. Meinerz and Bolles are both top 5 players at their positions. Mcglinchey and Wattenberg are both above average as well. We’ve been playing bottom 5 OL the last two weeks, in comparison.

I do worry we’re going to allow way too much time in the pocket today. Blitzing might be a good idea.

Not at all. Not really worried about the perceived height advantage; just those weak calls by the refs. There will be times in the game (especially if Denver is behind late) where Stidham will go downfield & try to give his guys a chance to make a big play. Hopefully, we play clean, avoid bad calls & intercept a few…

One of the commentators during the Texans game pointed out that only one playoff team in history had an easier schedule then the pats this year and it was the 2000 Rams. I've never in my life heard anyone insinuate "the greatest show on Turf" got there start because of their easy schedule. As usual the Pats are held to a different standard than anyone else.
Exactly. And they also beat zero winning teams that year until the Super Bowl.
