However, the running game would, if implemented successfully, keep the defense off the field longer. Which would be a huge plus.
Our offense is best when they play this type of game. I could see an argument if Brady and our passing offense are not productive. But we have arguably one of the top two offenses in the league. To gripe that we're not running the ball enough is a bit ridiculous.
Our defense sucks. We need to score as much points as possible and not screw around. I hate it when we go conservative. After we forced that punt in the third, we tried running it and got stuffed two consecutive downs on 2nd and 3rd after gaining 7 yards initially on first down. I trust our passing game more so than our running game. If anything, I prefer to run off our passing formations than run off obvious running formations.
