We just got younger at the long snapper position. He was the top ranked LS coming out of college this year.

Not feeling too good about the Maneri cut; I hope he winds up on our PS, but given the way things are going today, I'm not so sure that'll happen.

Molden, Ihedigbo and Tarpinian better turn out to be some special players!

At least one/two of them may be contributing slightly in a rotational sense, as a role player. That seems to happen just about every yr with injuries/lessened play from some others.

We may see one of Molden/Ihedigbo out there for sure at some point.

That said, I agree with your statement, and was (wrongly) as sure as could be that we'd have one less ST player this yr with the addition of more youth/speed in the recent drafts. Especially with the rule change(s) on the KO team. Out of all of them, I am surprised the most by keeping Tarpinian over Yeatman and Maneri.

I felt we could sneak him on to the PS easier than the other 2, although there's a good chance that Maneri may make it.

Keeping White and Slater was a given in my opinion.

Frankly, if they felt that Tarpinian would have been ready for opening day, I would have rather cut White to keep Yeatman or Smith.

That's certainly understandable too, and makes a lot of sense judging by the thought of Tarpinian actually being ready for opening day. I really don't see how he will receive enough chances/reps this yr though, but one never knows I suppose.

I am basing keeping White on his solid ST play, but Tarpinian may be just as effective.
