I know high school was the best ten years of your life, but go back and reread what I've written and stop with the douchebaggery of trying to put words in my mouth.
You comparing the actions of league MVP, the face of the NBA and the best player in the league to those of McEnroe
McEnroe is one of the greatest players in the history of his sport. Brady also walked off the field once without shaking anyone's hand too.
I'm not putting any words in your mouth. You're doing a fine job contradicting yourself and creating different arguments with your own words.
"I was leaving late one night, and this tall skinny kid approached me holding a pizza box. I said, "I know who you are, you're Tom Brady, sixth-round pick from Michigan." And he replied, 'and I'm the best decision this organization has ever made.' I was stunned. The amazing thing is he didn't say it to be arrogant...he was sincere. I went home and told everyone about it." - Bob Kraft

People were calling Brady a punk for leaving a field immediately once.
McEnroe used to act like a little baby in front of millions of people.
You're blowing this way out of proportion.
When?
And again, the hand-shaking might not be a big deal, but the post game presser is. And McEnroe was a caricature, if Lebron wants to act that way and be seen that way, then he'll never be placed amongst the all-time greats in the NBA.

What's f'n hysterical is the poster uses McEnroe to make his point! Can anyone think of a player who was more of a punk then John McEnroe in his prime? Albert Belle, was pretty cruel, HOF numbers, but isn't ever getting in because the writers are his ride, case closed. I'm really drawing a blank, anyone?

That's our Maverick for you, aka, asshat; trying to compare James to McEnroe, claiming the latter is one of the all time great tennis players.
Kind of makes you wonder what color the sky is in his twisted, sad, pathetic world.........

Why it is not valid to bring up other big-name athletes who acted like arses?
The media is blowing this whole thing way out of proportion. We've seen with Brady and Belichick how the media loves to blow up tiny things after games in order to demonize them.
There are TONS of all time greats, across every sport, who acted like absolute dicks or did very immature things.

Could you imagine a Celtic player who grew up in Boston and then wore a Yankee cap to a Sox game? That instantly turned me off.
It's not exactly the same situation since he wasn't a local product, but Brady used to be photographed wearing NY Yankees hats around Boston, until someone told him to start wearing Sox hats.

Very amusing to try to knock that I'm 'claiming the latter is one of the all time great players'?
You obviously are just a little kid who has no clue who John McEnroe is. He IS one of the all time best in tennis, child.
Ok manchild; what Confederate regiment did you serve in during the Civil War?
You fossil.
I'm older than you think, old enough to know Connors used to have McEnroe for lunch, so ease up there, your pacemaker might crap out on you in the middle of you rubbing out some knuckle children grampa...............
