I think Posey is a great sub. But the reason why I believe the Celtics are better is that he was a sub. Rhondo is a starter in one of the most critical positions in basketball. His play has elevated him to all-star status. Thus, the play of Rhodo with the continuous chemistry of the other four starters takes the Celtics to a higher level then last year, even tho they lost two quality players from last years team. The Celtics need a quality sub, but what would you rather have, the best starting five in basketball with no outstanding sub, or four great starters with an up and coming fifth with a great sub coming off the bench. Its actually similiar to one of the great Celtic teams of the 80's.

Yeah that Boston team could beat LA without Bynum. This Boston team, that I kept hearing was going to be the "greatest ever" couldn't beat the Lakers with Bynum in the lineup. Sorry, back to reality.

Wow, can it be, a freakin Faker fan rears his face?
I think its comical that people here and columnists are writing about how good the Lakers are today. Did you think the Celtics would not lose another game? Did you think that after 19 straight and a West Coast trip against a quality team with a chip on its shoulders, that the Celtics would continue winning no matter what. Thus, with this loss they are somehow not the same team as yesterday. That they will in no way win 75 games this year, nor will they win a championship because in the final minutes of an away game they lost their composure. That the Lakers yesterday proved that they were superior in a 7 game series. Do you think if the next game was at the Garden against the Lakers that the Lakers would win?

posey is a excellent player. he could start for most teams. he didn't get the contract he did from the hornets because hes some sub[as you call him]that can just be easily replaced. posey is a difference maker. the bench is a huge reason why a team wins a championship. you can have the best starting five there is and without a good bench your not going to win. that's why the Celtics arent better than last years team. they may be just as good with rondos improved play and another year of exp with the big three but not better. they have improved in one area only to get weaker in another.

The Lakers just beat what was called by many Celtics fans as "potentially the greatest team ever"- so I'd say LA isn't too shabby
