Oh please!! Yeah that 2 gaping defense has folks shaking in their boots. Bell is a great running back and if they run him 30 times the Patriots are in big trouble.

I'm not surprised you think that, but Bell is a bad match-up against the style of defense New England runs. He tends to pause behind the line of scrimmage. You can't do that against a two-"gaping" defense. There's a reason why the Steelers were suddenly able to get a ground game going when he left the AFCCG last season.

....if we lose against the steelers and the jags win out, we'll finish as the 3rd seed...

not good.

And as the 3rd seed we would get a first round match up with baltimore or LA chargers.

He's looked like ass for two games now. He's been over throwing WR's, skipping balls in the dirt too. There's something really wrong. If it's the ACL, why was KG traded? Jimmy could've beaten Denver, SD, etc. Would've given Brady rest.

Not sure if serious....

We need cooks to step up. 3 receptions his last two games? Idk what coverages he's seeing but he has to get open. This is when you miss a guy like edelman. The guy's money.

Cooks is a great route runner, but always expect the ball to drop right into his laps. He has zero fighting-for-the-ball skills. He gets pushed and rattled out of his catching spot very easily.

enjoy the week.......the pats are going up against their *****es

the most likely outcome is the steelers proverbially soiling themselves

Brady looked like ass last week too. I am terrified.

Here, go to the corner and wipe yourself....

Talk about ass raping, Jay ****ing Cutler just put up 27 points against us. And a 5-7 team made the Pats look like **** and held the offense to 20 points.Wish I was as confident (or naive) as you.

Half the defensive squad Cutler put 27 points on, is comprised of a bunch of JAGs, rookies, and practice squaders.... woohoo.... Jay Cutler...

Yet those jags and practice squaders will be on the field against Roethlisberger, Bell, and Brown. Yeesh....

Hopefully we get some leadership back in Van Noy and Flowers.... Steelers also don't have half the pass rush Miami has.... AND plays this dumb zone defense, AND we'll be playing them after being embarrased on national TV. If the Pats won't come out ape 5hit pissed and beat their asses then they don't deserve to be in the Superbowl conversation.

Eh...they'll need all the help they can get. Losing this game has done this:

A) Can't afford another loss. Otherwise, you can say hi to Chargers or Baltimore in the WC round. They've never made a SB in the BB era without getting a first round bye.

B) You need to play most starters against Buffalo...you know....the team that's out for blood?

Might be off topic, but I think drafting a linebacker needs to be a priority. Hightower seems to be the type of guy who will be frequently injured.

In other words, he's soft. I agree. But that's always been his game ever since college and into the pros.

And they never won a SB in the BB era until they finally did it in 2001. They also never went undefeated until they finally did it 2007. They also never lost a SB in the BB era until they finally did it in 2007.

Will the road be harder if you dont have a BYE ? Sure but only because you have 60 more minutes where you can **** the bed or injuries can happen. If the team plays up to its potential in the playoffs they will end up in the SB no matter what seed they get.

Regular season meeting too we held bell in check. Maintaining gap responsibilities keeps him from doing what he does best .

I dont think my disappointment really is with Cooks. Like you are saying he is who he is. But I guess I honestly got sucked into believing that BB and Josh would be able to make him an elite weapon by putting him into a positions that highlight his skillsets more often. But on some level maybe they were off on their assessment as well. I was rarely less certain about what to think about a player than I am right now about Cooks.

How is Pitt not a good team ? They are 11-2. They may have a suspect D, but they are most certainly a good team, and will take a HUGE effort by the Pats to beat them. Talk about ass raping, Jay ****ing Cutler just put up 27 points against us. And a 5-7 team made the Pats look like **** and held the offense to 20 points.Wish I was as confident (or naive) as you.

Hopefully this was the one usual BAD game the Pats played this year (always seem to have one crappy game per year). Still going to take their best effort all year to win, must win it with all 3 phases to win this game.

This will be one of the easiest victories of the year for NE. 20+ point margin guaranteed.

We'll revisit this conversation at around 7:30 EST on Sunday, if your head doesn't explode from the outcome.

I think this weekend is going to be reminiscent of the game in Pittsburgh in 2010 when the Pats were coming off of a loss in Cleveland where they got their teeth kicked in as well.

Allelujiah. We can't leave those palm trees behind fast enough. Rest up Brady and come up with a better game plan Josh!

It's mind boggling that they haven't gotten him more involved in bubble screens outside of the red zone. He's a weapon with the ball in his hands but they only seem to want him to run the 7, 8, and 9 routes.
