The concern isn’t that Mahomes is injured; it’s that he’s healthy. My god, he’s been terrible…barring injury, there’s no way an elite QB should be at this level of ineptitude for a month.

It's all those bullsh...er...amazing plays he makes are now not bouncing his way. And I would say the past succes of those plays has emboldened him to attempt more of them. He is starting to leave the pocket to quickly...and when he does hang in the pocket he looks nervous
After this week, 11 of the 16 AFC teams will have won either 5 or 4 games. The only team better than that, the 6-2 Titans, just lost their key player on offense.
Again, I don't completely disagree with your point. But you're not being even with your analysis. It's not just one game, or even 2 or 3. Hell, 3 of the Patriots 5 wins are to the Jets and Texans, 1 was against a team that they'd waxed 45-0 last year and had gotten destroyed by the Ravens in their last game, and the most recent was against a team that had lost 4 of its last 5, and was being led by a QB who played as if he wasn't completely over his recent concussion.
The Patriots can only play who's on the schedule, same as the Bills. But "THE PATRIOTS CAN BEAT ANYONE!" sort of stuff should wait until they actually beat SOMEONE.
