Lowe. What a disappearing act he continues to be. Can't wait to get a real tackle next season.
Too bad guy has played well, he really got rolled up on by Jacob’s guy sacking Maye, not much on him for that.
I haven’t looked at his other injuries in great detail but they all seem bad luck vs injury prone.
Need to see him a bunch more games this year to see what you have for next year.
If he really has developed into a solid to good tackle, that would be huge.
Maye has never had a solid offensive line in college or pros, nice to imagine how great he’ll be if they can get that

It would be great to see Lowe become a reliable option, depth at OT is important. Best case he can be the bridge at LT until the franchise player develops and moves to RT. At a minimum he has proven to be a solid backup on a good OL.

I didn't want either one either, I would rather have 2 2's and some 3's than a 1 and whatever else. A good QB can make a good WR look like a star. To be honest I am not even sure what a #1 WR is, I feel like several people define it differently. I have heard that it's a player that every DC has to game plan for, so JE11 and Welker? Then I am told no, that plays the X, OK so Mike Williams? I think its nomenclature that don't mean ****.

We don’t know what a #1 WR is, because our best is only a #3. The rest are #4s who smell like Number Two.

I honestly think Douglas is a pretty good wr2. Boutte on current basis is average wr3 along with Bourne who is also a serviceable wr 3. If Polk can become a wr2 we would become really good with rham and Gibson on backfield and Henry to stretch the seams.

I want to give him some credit for doing a good job when he has been out there, but he seems to just immediately get hurt each time. Not sure what is up with that. So I guess it's Jacobs' job now, where he's been fairly good at times and really bad at other times, and maybe Wallace comes back from IR in a couple weeks. Even if Lowe gets healthy again, can you count on him to stay healthy at this point?
That's been the constant the entire season. The health and availability of the OL.. even if not the most talented guys are out there if you have guys that have cohesion with each other that could play dividends. Lowe was hurt in the pre season and likely reaggrivated the ankle. Since last season lower has missed games for various injuries.. he doesn't seem like a player you can depend on. I've posted before that relying on lowe, Wheatley, Jr. And Anderson was not a recipe for success on the OL.

The difference is we have a QB who can elevate guys and make players around him better. Drake playing with these guys this season is only going to help him going forward. I'm sure the team is going to go after a true game changer in FA.. however I expect the offense to look much better now.

My wife & I spent a few days in London two years ago June before we depahted via Chunnel train to Amsterdam for a Rhine River cruise… it was just before QE2’s official 70th celebration, so the city was really clean & festooned, and we stayed in Westminster really close to the action…Walked to Abbey Road studio during one of the days also… Enjoy!

Why in the blue **** would they have robinson at rg when sow is healthy?? They better not hesitate to pull the plug after the 2nd or 3rd time he gets drake leveled
If they are seeking run game success, Robinson + Onwenu on the right is a great combination. Onwenu also shores up the continual problems at RT. Robinson is a weakness as a pass blocker, but hopefully a few weeks on the bench has helped him get a better grasp of that. Maye also has better vision and quickness - if someone is blasting up the middle he can move out of the way better than Brissett could, and he’s also able to get rid of the ball faster.

I think this is a decent combo if Robinson has some improvement. Jacobs can good enough at LT with reps, IMO. He played half of a good game against SF. They’re not gonna play many more teams the caliber of SF up front.

Eventually when Wallace returns perhaps they can slot him at RT and put Onwenu back to RG, though if Robinson is holding up then may as well leave it as is. Strange will need to play too, at some point.
