Brady 2004 through Week 7: 13 TD 7 INT. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make here. That offense had a real power runner and a competent passing game. I know it's all romantic and optimistic for people to pretend this 2013 offense is a deliberate throwback to the old Pats offenses, but those offenses were able to win in that era of football, and the 04 one in particular was a lot better than people are remembering. Real point is, destroying an offense in a single offseason isn't going to suddenly make you good lol.
The Patriots have a great RB on this team. They just seem to hate him, and prefer to force a passing game or feed the ball to a slow, fat guy.
This Bronco team is a lot like Manning's Colts teams 10 years ago... but those Colts teams were better. Defense had a good system, two star pass rushers, and (when healthy) an All-Pro safety. Offense had a Hall of Fame receiver or two, the best tight end in the league, and better
There's a recency bias about how good this team is, but it amazes me when people talk about how Manning's 'never had weapons like this.'
Harrison, Wayne, Clark, Stokely, Edge >>> Thomas, Welker, Decker, Thomas, Moreno
I wouldn't say he's great, but it is a bit baffling why he's totally off the radar now.
Vontae Davis, Greg Toler, Darius Butler.
I don't get it, but I love it.
I wonder if Irsay is going to say "I told you so" after this game if the Colts go on to win.
You mean, they're almost as bad as you. You were the one saying the Broncos would go 19-0 and be the best offense ever, after all.
If I didn't know any better I'd have thought you were a bandwagon Denver fan with the way you've been acting in the gameday threads and Bronco threads.
