Week 7 NFL Games

they need to stick Dungy in a pot, put him on a sunny window sill and water him daily...he is USELESS....

Reminds me of 2004

Brady 2004 through Week 7: 13 TD 7 INT. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make here. That offense had a real power runner and a competent passing game. I know it's all romantic and optimistic for people to pretend this 2013 offense is a deliberate throwback to the old Pats offenses, but those offenses were able to win in that era of football, and the 04 one in particular was a lot better than people are remembering. Real point is, destroying an offense in a single offseason isn't going to suddenly make you good lol.

This Bronco team is a lot like Manning's Colts teams 10 years ago... but those Colts teams were better. Defense had a good system, two star pass rushers, and (when healthy) an All-Pro safety. Offense had a Hall of Fame receiver or two, the best tight end in the league, and better

There's a recency bias about how good this team is, but it amazes me when people talk about how Manning's 'never had weapons like this.'

Harrison, Wayne, Clark, Stokely, Edge >>> Thomas, Welker, Decker, Thomas, Moreno

So, has Peyton gone from "going to set all kinds of records" to "clearly in decline"? I only ask because he's missing receivers by 10 yards, and he's passing up on wide open receivers to throw to guys in double coverage...

I took a punt on the Colts beating the Broncos this week. Hopefully, that pick stays true.

The Patriots have a great RB on this team. They just seem to hate him, and prefer to force a passing game or feed the ball to a slow, fat guy.

Champ Bailey out probably hurts Indy more than it does Denver.

Without a running game, the Broncos look above average at best.

As always with these 'juggernaut' offenses, shut down the run and force them to be one dimensional.

Ty Law would be proud of these Colts so far, keep it up.

Peyton "wah wah they're roughing up my WRs"

I wouldn't say he's great, but it is a bit baffling why he's totally off the radar now.

Eh...I personally would take this year's Broncos offense over that year's Colts offense, but I definitely agree about the recency bias, which is out of control these days. Much like your D, ours is pretty badly banged up right now, injuries to key D-Lineman, Linebackers and corners are certainly not helping.

That's what made losing last year so miserable, our D was VERY good, our O was good and our ST was good. Very complete team last year, definitely less complete of a team this year.

especially a week after he broke out for 96yards and two td's...

same script in all our losses(including playoffs the past few years) when it gets tough the coaching staff panics and abandons the run and puts it on the arm of brady.

The Broncos O-Line has been decimated by injury and it's affecting them big time.

Vontae Davis, Greg Toler, Darius Butler.

I don't get it, but I love it.

They're playing Man coverage all game long and having success I don't get it either

I wonder if Irsay is going to say "I told you so" after this game if the Colts go on to win.

Wouldn't that be something, that would really be a big hit for the media.

Manning's trying to throw a lot of finesse passes. Meaning his O-Line ain't blocking jack. Sound familiar?

These WRs are getting smothered at the LOS. That's been the difference. Funny how playing press coverage on defense results in an ineffective offense.

Luck will be the best quarterback in the league soon. I'd kill for a Luck clone as a successor to Brady. It's just too bad the Irsays are terrible, abysmal human beings who don't deserve QBs like Manning and Luck.

You mean, they're almost as bad as you. You were the one saying the Broncos would go 19-0 and be the best offense ever, after all.

If I didn't know any better I'd have thought you were a bandwagon Denver fan with the way you've been acting in the gameday threads and Bronco threads.

you didn't know? They are my favorite team...Manning FTW
