I know I'm late coming to this but watching the Colts self immolate gives me new respect for what the Patriots accomplished in 2008. They didn't make the playoffs but...

polian and caldwell should be embarrassed to hide behind manning and letting this season go with an excuse. There is no reason for them to sign kevin collins 2 days before the start and not draft even a single qb in the later rounds and then replace him with painter. Just giving up on the season like that is inexcusable. I actually feel bad for manning watching this from the sideline

That's kind of my point. He's awful and thrust into an environment that he appears incapable of handling.

I agree that he is in over his head, but he is getting paid pretty well for it. People watching the game actually have to pay to watch him either through their cable bill or paying for tickets.

Besides, even though I am not watching the game, it looks like Painter is the least of the Colts' problems. Painter has only turned the ball over twice. He isn't totally responsible for giving up 62 points.

I know, we have been trying to run out the clock sense the mid 3rd quarter. Oh boy.. Im sure their fans won't see it that way, like they needed another reason to hate us. Colts are just having a bad game, and were having a good one, and they have so many injuries. I don't think this game means to much.
