I'd only defer if I felt I needed to get off to a fast start and put some pts on the board quick. But, for the most part defer is the way to go. Nothing better than being up at the half and getting the ball back.

Having watched the line play a bit more lately, I think this is about the CB coverage, as much as anything. Welker has 5 catches in 6 targets (and a pair of flags drawn) despite having Flowers on him, and Thomas is breaking free in a hurry against Cooper.

Decker seems to be a complete non-factor to this point.
