I think that the coincidence of releasing the new name on groundhog day is a dead giveaway. It's gonna be RedHogs.

Their fans seem pretty mad because the only real info they got in the video the team released was that they had ruled out the only name people generally liked and wanted (Wolves, which I don't see why people cared too much about in the first place).

That's because non-fans would be confusing them with those other people in the Capitol!

Trigger warning: Admirals are part of the military. This name clearly celebrates US imperialism and oppression of others.

When I was at UMass (formerly the Redmen) there was a movement to change the minuteman mascot because of the racist connotation of a whiteman holding a gun.
