So the chick he hit is from Maine then?

I guess that means neither one of them have any teeth now

How many of you know that Maine was part of Massachusetts for longer than its been a State?

I knew we was part of Mass but never stopped to think that it was longer then the amount of time we've been a state.

How far back are you counting?

The Missouri Comprimise was back in 1820, which is roughly 40 years after Mass declared itself a State and not a colony.

If you go back to the original Mass. Bay Colony, when it was incorporated in 1628, then you are about 5 years short.

But given Mass was not a state for the majority of that time, what exactly is your point?

Us wanna-be mass-****s have to deal with the damn tourists though.

But yeah, there are two distinctly different parts of Maine. As for myself, I don't mind that the southern part is basically Massachusetts with easy access to the ocean, no traffic and better scenery.

Oh, you poor put-upon Mainers! You have to put up with those awful tourists!

Of course that attitude certainly doesn't jibe with the fact that your state spends all year begging those awful tourists to please, PLEEEEEEZE, come and stay awhile. What's that it says on your license plates????????

It's like Heidi Fleiss saying she doesn't like men.

OK the facts are out. This woman has a summer home in the Farmington, ME area. Her and her husband live in Pitts during the rest of the year.

I have a summer home in Farmington ,ME and I winter in Pitts, Pa.

OK, so she's not very bright which means she was a Steelers fan all along.

Hey, Congrats on 3000 posts!
I love the first poster:"The license plate on the car that Ben hit was from Maine, that is close enough to New England Patriot county"

Where the hell does this guy think Maine is, Canada??
it's not that he doesn't know where maine is, it's that he doesn't know where NEW ENGLAND is.
come on now, have you ever seen it on a map?
heck, it must be over there next to buffalo somewhere.
now, where's buffalo?

Lost in this story so far is the fact that Ben may have been going as much as twice the speed limit on the world's fastest production motorcycle. If he had a helmet on his thick skull, he wouldn't even be all that injuried.....

In Virginia, we have a term for accidents when both drivers are at fault. Somebody can slam into you illegally, but if you are speeding as well, even in your lane, and under control, it becomes a 'No Fault' accident. It is a truly ****ty law, but it is applicable to the motorcycle crash if Ben were driving recklessly at 70 m.p.h. in a congested area. He may have been able to slow down from, say, 45 m.p.h. Nobody has confirmed the exact speed yet.
