So I get an E-mail telling me that because Ticketmaster has been ripping me off for decades of Patriots' ticket purchases due to unnecessary fees, I will be getting 17 vouchers for free general admission tickets to certain events. The list of events comes out and there are no Patriots games listed, not even preseason games.

This is ridiculous. I was overcharged for hundreds of Patriots ticket purchases so I get offered tickets to concerts that I have no interest in? This is just wrong.

Perhaps because Krafty Bob and/or the NFL/Goodell had a say/influence in the matter?

So the value is perceived, but not real.....therefore it's just lip service.....like so many other class action settlements. you get the settlement when you spend more dollars.

Isn't each one of the 17 vouchers only worth like, 2.25 apiece? And even worse, they choose the shows available. From what people have been posting on social media, none of the options are desirable.

The vouchers are worth full ticket value (there is a separate part of the settlement that gives you $2.25 to use on any ticket). But as you said, the list of bands and other events is so limited that you probably wouldn't go to many of them, even though it's free. I was excited about it until I read the fine print, total BS. Definitely no Patriots options.

Yes, I know the measly amount of 2.25 was in there somewhere. What a load of crap. They should be ashamed of themselves (as I order up more tix with 30 percent fees, since I really have no other option.) Thank you for the clarification.

I bought so many Patriots tickets via Ticket Exchange that I got 17 vouchers for a free pair of general admission tickets to a bunch of concerts (that are all sold out even if I wanted to go) and 17 additional vouchers for $2.25 off of a future ticket purchase. Woop-de-doo.

The settlement required Ticketmaster to make a certain value of tickets available, so they just released tickets to events that would never have sold under normal circumstances to get past that point.

I, too, have the 17 free tickets. The settlement is a scam. There aren't any events available at all. At least this year. Maybe there was for an instant, but none close to me even when there might have been availability.

I hope the lawyers got cash instead of voucher codes.
